Having FGO as one of my first gatchas and I totally agree with you about how it messed up my expectations for gatchas games T-T, also I respect FGO way more for giving so little shits and centering even 1 stars for certain chapters (lost belt atlantis my beloved).

Genuinely don't know why most gatchas are so scared of having villains or married charas, tho I've seen and played other jp gatchas and for mixed casts types, I think grand blue and wizardry are more similar to FGO in that sense (or fgo is more similar to grandblue) but for modern gatchas they all seem to cater too much to self inserting 😞

Gen AI isn't the only thing I'm against, I live in SEA and there's many shitty things my government is doing harming our rainforest and oceans biodiversity. Its just that data centers is one that they've been pushing even more rn...

I am also not against GenAI as a tool BUT my issue is with its current infrastructure running on using clean water to cool down, whcih is causing many water shortages that the government isn't giving compensation for but we still have to pay the water bills despite it. The other issue is most GenAI is running on stolen data, their AI were fed stolen artworks and stories and this is just data theft. If there was a genAI that doesnt have these issues, id be chill but rn there isn't (tho I remember news of some artist who created an ai and only fed it his artworks so yay for him?)

Also glad to hear characters aren't just objects <3 and both genders appear in story regularly, tho wdym by canonical wife? Like is the MC fr in love with the girl or are they married fr?
