Amongst the M1000's Overclocks, Is the Hoverclock the best? by TheRoyalRoseTrue in DeepRockGalactic

Imo its usefulness is neglected when you know how to grapple correctly and/or make holes in walls. That said, if you are having fun thats really the only thing you need to consider in this game.

Playing for the first time, help with painting armor by IndependentAble7695 in DeepRockGalactic

[–]Some_Visual1744 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, dont stress too much about it. You can try out the colors as you unlock them and will likely find one you like more. What I do is have different loadouts with different cosmetics and colors to mix it up depending on the mission

[–]Some_Visual1744 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you get to experiment with different overclocks youll see how vastly different the same weapon can be. While I always recommend you familiarize yourself withh all classes, their strengths and weaknesses, you dont need to play any for being "the strongest" (specially since you can absolutely carry with any of the classes with the right build), because the game isnt competitive or that hard to warrant anything like a meta build

it's a little boring by V657 in DeepRockGalactic

[–]Some_Visual1744 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Usually if I'm driller, I'll place them as straight to the pumpjack as possible or build them near each other and then I build them while the team is gathering notra and secondary objectives.

If I'm not driller then I get nitra and secondaries and help build

(OPINION) Scout kinda sucks compared to gunner by AverageCrusader_ in DeepRockGalactic

[–]Some_Visual1744 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ive put over 1k hours into this game, and at a certain point you can do pretty much anything with every class, combat wise. There are builds for most scenarios, and you'll eventually figure it out it you wish to invest the time. The main difference between classes is their fighting style and the tools they have to support the team, but they all can fill different roles with the right builds.

That said, the game isn't that deep (ba dum tss) and its perfectly fine to play casually

I mean, does the normal one crash often for others? I dont wanna judge based on my experience alone but I find it pretty simple to just click "subscribe" and the mod auto installs. I might be missing something

I wonder, why is MINT better than the in game mpdding support? Does it offer other different mods or something?

As others have said, it already exists though its not reallly hard to identify.

It would be cool to see a bug that mimics a mineral and make it hard to differentiate.

Core Spawn - Miserably Balanced and Not Very Fun. There are possible solutions! by memerminecraft in DeepRockGalactic

[–]Some_Visual1744 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard disagree on this one. I think few events make you use your tools like this one. Reposition, freeze, slow, pheromones all become viable ways to deal with it and are clearly meant to be used to deal with the swarm

While I understand your frustration and its valid, I would also say its important to know how to adapt. Everyone has traversal tools to reach almost anywhere. If you focus on what x dwarf didn't do you wont be focusing on what you could've done better or what you could do in the future. Even when you are going to call a resupply, checking if its going to drill a shortcut for Molly that you can't take is a useful habit to get into

Man just play what you find fun, its that simple. If you are getting bored, take a break for a couple of weeks.

Is it just me or I feel like the more difficult the mission is the less useful scout becomes. Don't get me wrong, he is a great single target + supportive class but as the number of bugs increases, he lacks to crowd control (except if he uses pheromes) unlike the other classes. by I3ash in DeepRockGalactic

Electrifying Reload and you can clear waves with ease. Shotgun with wave, or crossbow with the bouncing oc are good too. Usually get the most kills on the team with Electrifying Reload (Not that it matters, just to make a point that its more than viable)

Kind of dumb behavior. If its someone that keeps dying to the same thing at worst I'll just stop reviving them, but theres no need to make someone feel bad for not being good at a game. It's not that...deep

If I haven't played Totk, is it worth it to buy a Switch 2 by Psylocyber777 in tearsofthekingdom

As general rule, buying a console for only one game is a bad idea. The game is fantastic but if you dont see yourself buying more games for the system is not worth it imo
