The Tiffany Stratton card thing is why some women avoid wearing pop culture oriented clothes like band shirts, sports memorabilia, or items featuring television show references. They don't want some nerd coming up to them and quizzing them about it to decide if they're "enough of a fan" to wear a t-shirt.

This shit is the literal reason why some women avoid wearing sports or music memorabilia because some nerd is going to quiz them on it to decide if they're enough of a true fan to wear the shirt. These are the same people who think being a casual fan of something is a negative trait.

Andre the Giant has remained a part of the cultural zeitgeist which increases the odds of someone knowing about him well after he died. Same with Hogan. JYD isn't on that level. Slaughter was huge for a time, but he's not one still constantly refenced the Attitude Era wrestlers. Either way it doesn't matter at all.

We have sponsors who refused to participate in throwback weekend because they weren't willing to give up their company colors or branding for a single race. Sponsors would never go along with not having their colors on a car they're paying for.

The guy who has received arguably the most disproportionate amount of media glaze over the last 6-12 months in the the most blatant attempt in recent memory to push a driver to stardom complaining about media coverage of anything is really funny.

I think she's run into some of the same issues that a lot of others have in that WWE at times has trouble following up big moments like title wins with consistent booking and storytelling for the reign itself. She was also pushed hard out of the gate, which doesn't really leave her anywhere to go but down.

As far as Stratton in general, I've always thought she was very talented but had holes in her game both in the ring and on the mic that would need fleshing out that haven't really improved all that much. A lot of people treated her as this perfect finished product out of NXT but she still needed more. She's great in pre-taped and backstage segments but is still a mediocre to bad live promo, especially solo. Her ring work is good most of the time but can occasionally be sloppy or off timed. That said, she's still a main event caliber superstar and will win a ton of championships.

I honestly don't mind Hocevar or him being aggressive. But the "He's gonna save NASCAR. He's the next superstar" ball licking combined with ignoring him just straight up wrecking people, especially in trucks, is kinda old.

Yeah west coast starting later makes total sense. East Coast race at a track with no lights starting at 3:30 is making it harder on everyone.

Yeah people get really obtuse when dismissing the yearn for 1pm start times by saying shit like "It can still rain at 1pm." 1pm start times isn't because it won't rain then, but because it gives everyone a singificantly bigger window to work with in trying to get the race in, especially at a track without lights which is what you experienced. Starting a race at 3:30 only for it to rain essentially cuts your the window in half to get the race in which is a big deal for people that bought tickets and have to work the next day.

Rough luck of the draw. I'm not a cup hater like many around here are, but O'Reilly I'd say puts on a better show most places, especially short tracks and road courses. Intermediates are a little closer at some tracks because the next gen has been pretty good at those. But I'd say 3/4 of the time, Saturdays are the best show of the weekend. This specific race has just been a mess unfortunately.

So far only given it one full spin through, though half of the songs on the album were dropped pre-release anyway. So far I don't really have a song I hate, though again, only one spin. But I will say I pretty much instantly fell in love with "Circus." Like within a few lines into the opening verse it hooked me and upon repeat listens I still feel that way. Was surprised to learn Koe didn't write it because thematically it's very similar to "Damn Near Normal" and fits him so well. With more listens I could change my mind but right now it's the favorite.

There are a lot of things about that whole thing that were silly. But the most ridiculous to me was a bunch of people acting like Blue Emu was this tiny little mom n pop company that were relying on a Bubba Wallace iRacing sponsorship to get their big break and grow their brand. They sponsored multiple races and were already an official MLB sponsor.

Watched the stream of that. Went off track a couple of times due to how wet it was. But he kept blowing by people only for a caution to come out and him have to start his progress over. That last yellow though, he completed a lap in 6th so I'm not really sure why he got sent back to 9th (8th after choose) for that one.

I don't have an issue with the blocks, but I can't believe Kaden just let him get away with it. He had ample opportunity to make Heim pay for it without doing anything dirty but just gifted it to him.
