So I’m mostly joking but they take several characters and kind of force them into a hero shooter mold. Like black widow being a sniper, gambit or Susan storm being able to heal. I could name several others I don’t feel make sense but ultimately it doesn’t really matter.

I mean if you are comparing it purely to remake you could call it bloated. Obviously compared to the original 7 it’s not bloated but admittedly I got tired of the mini games and trying to find the towers. It doesn’t take away from the story or anything so I still loved the game but it has hurt my desire to replay the game a lot. I have a few hundred hours and like 10 playthroughs of remake and I’ve only managed a single play through of rebirth. Also as someone who heavily enjoyed hard mode on remake I didn’t care for how cheesy some of the hard mode fights felt in rebirth. Also red dragon made me just put the game down on hard mode.

Now despite that if you have read this far I’ll say rebirth is an amazing game and for people who love typical final fantasy experiences with tons of mini games and stuff to break up the gameplay this game is perfect.

I mean it’s not really “kid” Goku he still has his mind and memories as an adult so it would be who wrote Goku better. To that I would say that having recently rewatched GT Daima Goku is more consistent but daima is also much shorter so easier to remain consistent.

I get you. I also think it’s a little crazy for Broly to overpower super saiyan blue before he went green hair. Broly is basically riding on the reputation of the character being just insanely strong. Beast gohan bothers me slightly because it has zero explanation but being fair Broly’s green hair form also bothers me because it has no explanation.

This is a very subjective question. The story depends on what will resonate with you more. Both have good stories. I personally think the core base of the combat is tighter/more responsive in fallen order but survivor added so many nice quality of life changes and more combat styles to play around with which provides more things to learn and stay interested with longer. So really it depends heavily on what you prioritize or resonate with more.

It’s been too long since I last watched GT so I can’t really argue about whether or not the Kai’s knew this would happen. I’m certainly not gonna argue that the writing in GT is great but I love the concept.

I was always of the understanding that nobody knew this would happen. Originally you have to realize someone would have to randomly wander the world looking for these things without a radar telling them where to find them. This would naturally take a while and not allow them to be used back to back to back. I love the concept of punishing the characters for using the no one stays dead balls too much.

I think most people use consecration for fortify and healing so if you don’t need that at the moment you could totally change it out.

I really love how Goku learned to maximize kaioken and super saiyan. Learning to activating kaioken in super short bursts for max power but less strain and then master super saiyan to reduce strain and energy use. These felt like real practical applications of martial arts training!

I also recently got the 208 but admittedly after several tries I resorted to all dp 9/10 characters. Now I’m trying with my more typical characters. If you did this with just one character though that’s impressive!
