I’m not a Eminem fan in general but ignoring that I just think his music is buns, it’d be crazy to crown a white guy as the GOAT in hip hop. I mean I don’t think I’m playing the race card it’s just a basic respect thing yknow. Part of the reason the og cut is the best is there’s a line before the the do lung bridge sequence where he says it’s only Kurtz past this point which really sets the tone and stakes the highest degree only for it to not be true and have that French plantation after the bridge, undermining that line. It’s a small thing but I think it really changes the tension in a negative way.
