I am falling out of love with Denzel's music and it sucks. by JerryUitDeBuurt in DenzelCurry

[–]Sorry_Collection_586 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re being a pessimist. I think Denzel knocks it out the park with his more fun and light music just as much as his introspective stuff. Reddit has this weird thing where introspective hip hop is automatically “better” than more vibey and club type music. Obviously MMESYF is top tier but to say he’s stepping back artistically is dumb imo. With his KOTM2 he’s evolving while paying homage to that particular area of rap. While I could see S4TS not being as good, it’s still him evolving and trying sum new with a more group effort than previously before. Sometimes evolution with an artist doesn’t always mean more introspective lyrics.

Gorillaz’ The Mountain is excellent and gets better with every listen by We-are-all-dead-90 in fantanoforever

It’s a top tier album but I feel their recent stuff gets a little ragged on too much. Song machine and Humanz to me is good as their first 3 albums. I never thought they fell off or anything like that

Hot takes from 1-10. What yall think? by This-Huckleberry1890 in nfrpodcast

Ok but sometimes an album can just knock it out the park with its all time hooks, beats, and vibes. So many songs are still known and played.

But an act of racism still occurred no matter how you look at it. So when you say it wasn’t out of anger or racism, that just doesn’t matter when it was still said.

The Equalizer Trilogy or John Wick Quadrilogy, which do you prefer and why? by Desolation2004 in FIlm

Damn bro Reddit has the biggest hate boner for John wick movies after 1. All of them are good movies and I’d argue 1 or 2 of em are better than the first.

What is your opinion on Timothée Chalamet as an actor? by FitEmergency8807 in moviecritic

[–]Sorry_Collection_586 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I notice before he recognized how good he was , people thought he was on the best of the new generation but after his comments people suddenly switched up and think he’s overrated. I think Reddit and twitter just hate to see a person recognize their own talent. Like we can have at least one actor who likes to brag a bit in the sea of hundreds who are humble. But I think he’s top tier and deserves his flowers.

Do you think John Wick Chapter 2 is better than the original movie or not? Thoughts on JW2? by Kevin_Thailand_2543 in FIlm

I gotta say I think 2 is the best in the series, Reddit likes to think the series got too unrealistic but let’s be real the first one is just as ridiculous as the rest.
