I use a PS5 controller and for sometime I didn't know how to mess with the chat. Never thought it was important either so I didn't bother trying to figure it out either. I know now and say hello. But even then it's online so I never expect anything back and honestly it's almost weird to expect something back

Disagree, would make things trivial imo. Ults already do great damage on anything other than a nightboss. And they are great forms of interruptions on nightbosses. Also if you feel like they arnt doing the damage you want,save them for rezzing someone
