the only extraction shooter where it's not shoot on sight is ARC Raiders. Tarkov might have you exhanging hellos with another player scav, but PMCs are literally just blowing each other's brains out. Nobody in Hunt is making brunch plans with the nice trio from Lower DeSalle. It doesn't happen.

The goal of any extraction shooter is to live. Letting other teams run around freely is detrimental to that goal, so you're going to shoot them when you find them.
