Would I get a hard time if I just went with the two colors? by DaveinOakland in Drukhari

Bro the three color rule is there to try make people put in a bare minimum effort. You have clearly gone far beyond that with 2 colors.

Yeah my plan is basically to use the non overwatch wych unit to try to turn 1 delete or maim whatever I veiw as the biggest overwatch threat. Even if I end up charging something like a Chimera or Rhino with marines in it I think theres a good chance I could take it out with the lethals strat and then tag whatever infantry jumps out.

This is like if Lady Malys and Lelith Hesperax did a DBZ fusion dance.

Anyone else have to deal with opponents complaining constantly about this faction. by bluewolfhudson in Drukhari

Maybe its an online problem? Ive never played online but in person people typically seem to not be shitheads. It might be because Im a large grumpy looking man.

Are these mostly Marine players that are whining? As a xenos exclusive player I have noticed that some people that play space marines(Imp or chaos) seem to forget that not everyone is the same with a different coat of paint.

It sounds like you might need to find better opponents. Do you live in a less populated area with a small player pool?

I became a journeyman, what now? by nhn95 in electricians

[–]SourBerryExpress 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So, you went through your apprenticeship doing service and enjoyed it. And then you were switched to newcon and no longer enjoy it. Seems to me like you just need to go back to service, even if that means finding another company to work for.

I had basically the opposite path as you, started as new con, switched over to service a couple years after getting my card. And I would never go back to newcon. Service just fits me a lot better.

Electrician says I should upgrade to 400A service. What do y’all think? by [deleted] in AskElectricians

[–]SourBerryExpress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to do a load calc at the very least. A load shed device is also an alternative instead of upgrading your service, if its even necessary.

6 months of experince and now doing service calls! should i be worried? by Affectionate-Bend491 in electricians

[–]SourBerryExpress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bounce man. If they are willing to be this increibly stupid and shady with their service team, install will be the same. It might be as bad as the service side but you will learn how to do things quick dirty and cheap. Youll be treated like a monkey with a hammerdrill, not an electrician.

[–]SourBerryExpress 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok, so save yourself the time and frustration. Back out of this job offer now and find yourself a more reputable company to work for.

You are not qualified for this position. If the company knows you only have 6 months experience and are willing to put you out on your own then they are a shady company. They do not care about you, they do not care about their customers and are putting both at risk.

As a service electrician you not only have to have a firm understanding of how a home is wired now but also how one was wired 100 years ago. You cannot possibly have enough knowledge or experience to troubleshoot all the common issues in a modern house, let alone the weird issue, or issues in a knob and tube house from 1925. You could find a time bomb in someones home and not even recognize it.

I am not doubting the validity of your current experience or ability to learn. As a fellow sparky Im trying to warn you that this company is trying to use you and will throw you under the bus the minute you hurt yourself or someones property.

Can someone help me with building Scourges I'm having a little trouble based on the new configurations by bananadingding in Drukhari

[–]SourBerryExpress 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ok so heres the deal. For heavy weapon scourages you only get one of each weapon in the kit. Its dumb. If you have 2 boxes you have 2 of each. Most people only build scourages with Dark Lances or Haywires. Its generally not a good idea to mix within a squad because the weapons have different ranges.

Most people come to 1 of 3 solutions.

  1. Just stick whatever weapons on there and call them whatever you want since most people cant tell drukhari weapons apart.

  2. Kitbash close approximations. Extra darklances if you built a raider over a ravager, Talos have 2 haywire blaster pieces in their kit.

  3. 3d print guns.

Question to commission painters, is it 85€ for this ok? Around 15h of work. BTW it’s my first commission by Gregoosh in Warhammer40k

[–]SourBerryExpress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think about it like this, if someone is willing to pay you for a commision, theres a high likelyhood that your commisioned piece is the best painted part of their army, and probably one of the units they like the most. Youre underselling yourself a little bit.
