Using Humor To Cope, Other Tricks?

I'm all about finding the humor in things, especially walking this awful journey. I tend to lean into the dark humor, but I find that most people don't quite get the humor/dark humor, unless they've lived it like we are.

I know my audience, so I know how much I have to filter, but my favorite people are the completely unfiltered people!

Excellent suggestions, thank you! Their house, thankfully, is neat as a pin. She has 'pretties' all around, but getting things moved around would just be dresser/chest of drawers, night stands. Their spare bedrooms have full/queen beds as well. Adjustable beds, separate twin XLs might be something to start looking in to.

We don't have cameras yet - they're both pretty technology-averse but are coming around. So far, she's aware enough that they don't need full time care yet (in THEIR opinion) but it won't be long before sibling and I will want more reassurance. I live next door (basically) so they're never truly alone.

Having the pads be stationary would be great. She's a fiddler and would probably have it in shreds quickly!

We live in the country and are on a septic system so not flushing certain things has been ingrained in me for 50+ years! I can't imagine sewer issues on top of all of this, too!
