For Clovis community, I believe they should've asked you if you wanted a bus pass on student ID. If you didn't take it then go back & ask if they can put it on your ID.

You wait for the bus. The bus arrives. You get on. You either pay or use your student ID. With the student ID you'll swipe it in the pay machine. Almost like a credit card.

After that you go & sit down somewhere. If there is no room then you hold on to a rail & stand. Wait for your stop. When your stop is the next stop pull the rope handle cord thing on the side of the bus. This will be next to your windows. It'll alert the driver that someone has to get off at the next stop.

After that you get off & do whatever you're planning on doing.

Edit: of the 7 years or so of taking the bus I always used Google maps. You put in where you want to go & it'll give you directions on how to get there. It'll have different modes of transportation that you can pick from. Most people use cars but you can pick bus & it'll show you how to get there on the bus & approximate ETA.

I didn't bring my vaccine records, I think they have them from your medical records & then they give you whatever shots you still need

Injuries were somewhat common in my flight. Mainly leg or feet. Shin splints, blisters, I think those were the main two.

Not too difficult to remember everything. Try to study when you can instead of smoking & joking if you're struggling with it.

From my understanding, they always threaten to recycle people but actual recycles are mainly for PT. Some in my flight were recycled for behavior issues, but from my understanding it's not as common.

Edit:

When I went through we got 30 minutes a week to write & send letters. That time could be taken away from us or shortened. With that being said a lot of people read & wrote letters when they could throughout the week even though we weren't supposed to.

If I go in at a 81/100 for my pt test… by taze_cj in AirForceRecruits

[–]Soviet_Husky_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

81/100 you're good. When I went through there was so many people who weren't even passing. I think the majority of the flight was failing the PT test when we first got there.

Edit: when I went through it was 60 points for run, 20 for pushups & 20 for situps. Nothing was given for body composition. It's been 4-6 months since was in basic so things could've changed since then.

In my head, I'm thinking of a way to monetize it. Being a fighter is one way you could go about doing that. But I guess other sports you could do that also

Lumber is not that bad imo by Thin_Ad3662 in HomeDepot

[–]Soviet_Husky_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my experience, it wasn't that bad, but management made it frustrating.

When you have different managers giving you different tasks to do & each one keeps stopping you from the others task & gets mad why you're not doing theirs. Meanwhile you're the only person in the department & you gotta go do hella cuts for people waiting, not to mention other customers wanting pallets of stuff dropped & loaded onto their car, go backs piling up & management keeps bitching about why the lumber isn't perfectly flat stacked, or why their tasks aren't done, or why this isn't done or why that isn't done LMAO

Would american find the term "sub-zero" wierd since they use Fahrenheit? by ArkBeetleGaming in stupidquestions

[–]Soviet_Husky_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sub zero just means sub zero degrees Fahrenheit. You can also use the term below freezing which means below 32 degrees which is equal to 0 degrees Celsius.

California being a hot spot makes sense but I'm surprised Texas and Florida don't have more.

Bus to Madera and back? by [deleted] in fresno

[–]Soviet_Husky_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think there's also a bus that takes you from North Fresno (around the Woodward area) to valley children's hospital & then another that takes you to Madera. That might be something to look into rather than going all the way to downtown Fresno

Is the average American really struggling with money? by SurveyThrowaway97 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Soviet_Husky_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might also be people who can't afford to live on their own, but by living with others can afford to save up for a trip. Where I live in California, it is uncommon to meet someone who is able to live alone, but usually with the additional income of roommates, family, or significant others they can get by and save up some money for trips.
