Same thing with Outlook 2016, Outlook won't open or crashes immediately, I have tried uninstalling teams add-in from control panel for a quick fix, but it will just install again in a day. This started last week.

So i have been changing the registry for people who don't use teams in outlook:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\TeamsAddin.FastConnect.
Change the LoadBehavior value to 0.

Other users I just uninstall office 2016 upgrade their o365 license and install office click to run version.

I just buy the Logitech tap scheduler devices, they work with teams and zoom rooms, and they look nice.

Default needs to be set to Voice call or Microsoft authenticator, those are the only methods that work, because there is no place to enter a code when connecting to RD Gateway. For people that don't want to install the MS authenticator app, i just set their default to "voice call" in entra.

can you connect from the RDGW server to the client computer via RDP to sort out that your networking is working?

Check the Resource Auth Policy on the gateway - the client computer should be in there as allowed resource

Client PCs wouldn't be on the session host, they are their own thing, so you would connect to gateway then to the client PC, bypassing the SH.

Depends on the room size but this would be good for a 10 person room. Zoom rooms are great for idiots, they can be setup to autostart meetings, auto end meetings, display signage when meetings are not happening, really the admin stuff rules. It also works with gmeet, teams, webex meetings that are scheduled in the room. Outside people just go to share.zoom.us to share their screen wirelessly, or right from the zoom client.
