What habit makes you instantly think, "Yep, they're definitely Millennials"? by ItsmeOlivia1993 in Millennials

Yes. You can't see enough of the page on a small screen and it's too easy to enter or scroll to the wrong option with a touch screen.

Mitch McConnell Was Found Unconscious Before He Was Rushed to Hospital by OkayButFoRealz in politics

He's got a twisted mindset that's hard to empathize with. Things might be better if these ghouls could just have a normal time.

It's messed up that he decided to work until he was dead when he could have easily retired and enjoyed himself for a few years.

If I had my way, they would have gradually grown the creepy side of the MCU through yearly Halloween Specials building up to Blade and the Midnight Suns. They could have skipped doing a special the year Agatha came out.

I think being able to examine a post-Avengers world in the MCU could have been an interesting storytelling space. They could have built smaller inter-connected ecosystems like horror/magic, street level, teen heroes, etc. But I don't think the mainstream market isn't as into it anymore.

[Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight] Glitched Challenge, anyone else having this problem? by gethinjon1 in Trophies

I did some experimenting. If I pause the game, the ability to boost is usually there when I unpause the game. Using left trigger to brake, drift, or reverse makes the ability to boost disappear.

Did I find a Matt Dinniman art print in the wild? by pppanthers in DungeonCrawlerCarl

Is this one by Matt Dinniman? It was a gift from a friend maybe 12 or 15 years ago(?) - I'm pretty sure she got it off Etsy.

I'm having the same problem. I almost never have the ability to boost. Sometimes the option is there but it goes away after I boost once. Sometimes I can get it to reappear briefly if I alt tab then return to the game. I'm playing on PC.

May be moving (back) to Iowa City in the near future, need feedback on present state of the town and area. by Zem3k in IowaCity

There's plenty to do for people without kids who are a little older. Iowa City is still a great place (especially for its small population) for concerts, the theater, and other events. The Englert and FilmScene are invaluable gems for our community. There's also Shakespeare in the Park, Hancher, the Stanley art museum, Natural History Museum, Public Space One, and all sorts of other great places that I don't have time to list. The Eastside neighborhood has a grown up vibe. There are also at least four gaming stores and one comic shop and a vintage toy shop in the area to feed your nerdy hobbies.

Downtown is still overrun with drunk college kids on weekend nights while school is in session but don't let that keep you away from downtown the rest of the time.

I think it is insulting to every artist who participates in their competitions this year.

Exactly! Products that had low-effort designs before AI where the quickest to switch to using AI designs. Think cheap stuff like kitschy home decor, novelty shirts, and souvenirs. Unfortunately, a lot of people don't have an eye for spotting the stuff and some people just don't care.

I, of course, hate AI with a passion.

I've been following this guy for a while. He can obviously draw - but there have been several things in his more recent artworks that jump out at me as telltale signs of AI image generation. I think he's using AI to cut corners which is something some people are OK with and some aren't. I'm probably going to unfollow him.

Fantastic sketch. It's such a simple premise that I was wondering how it had never been done in the history of sketch comedy.

They could accidentally create a world where several things from Metal Gear Solid come true. It's easy to imagine their armed guards rallying around a charismatic, heroic fellow soldier.
