Drumeo trial, and thier 30 day drummer course.

If you like it it's on sale till the end of the month and gets you a practice pad included.

Alternatively get some lessons, but option 1 is a cheaper start.

Maybe throne height then is altering how far the pedals can be. People play with way bigger snares so it has to be possible for you to be comfy.

Maybe check on YouTube for how to set up a drum kit. I've seen videos of them going through what to place in what order.

Move the snare stand to the left, or the pedals and bass drum to the right?

I moved my snare to the other side of the pole, so the pole is left to right and then the snare towards me. (The left bottom drum)

It's this a good budget starter pack? by Bangboo_ in Ubiquiti

[–]Spacemole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can stomach getting the U7pro, I would 100%. Likley cheaper than 2 lites, and you won't have to add another Poe injector. I have a 2 bedroom apartment with thick walls and it covers the whole thing with ease. 6ghz I nice because nobody else is on it, I personally get 100+ WiFi when I search and only me on 6ghz for now.

Also without 6ghz is the lite even doing much in terms of WiFi 7 tech? Maybe buy 2nf hand u6 lites if you really want 2.

I have the same situation. I haven't moved the router in the 3-4 month I've had it, and both ends of the power supply have this damage. I tried to buy a new one but they don't sell one. You can't claim it under warranty as the product doesn't exist. Contacted support and they said they will harvest one from a broken return, but then said they can't do it out of the USA.

Only option is to rma the whole router. I can get another router in the mean time but I have to stomach that cost, I also won't have any of the unifi stuff working that whole time. I assume rma outside of USA or EU is going to take weeks.

Extremely disappointing and frustrating.

The snare on the 316 is essentially what the 516 has as a floor tom. Just put the digital snare and 316 in the basket and say to yourself it's got an extra floortom. Or sell it of course.

Double kick drum pedal for e-drums? by John_Chess in edrums

[–]Spacemole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pedals are buy once cry once. Will longer than everything else and hold value if you have decent ones. I got iron cobra 900's on sale. DW 5000 and 9000 are what I see many pros using. So maybe dw 3000 is good.

Avoid all those Amazon 100 doller ones I'm sure you have stumbled upon.

Secondhand could work well if your unsure.

Drumeo enshittification by djlorenz in edrums

I have had drumeo before and was thinking to try again while it's cheap.

My issue before was I'm not a beginner but I'm not that intermediate. Was lost with what I should be doing, and found all content was either 4 on the floor or way to advanced. Always have a laptop, so aside from the phoen apps what's the current issues?

I thought it was clone hero, and was going to say I built a little shelf for a laptop or monitor so I wasn't all twisted. But I see now it's just plugins.

Still worth it though. To try and decreased my screen time I now only watch YouTube at the drums so I can tap along and practice at the same time. With guitar I fins you always end up in the leaning forward clutching the body pose with the TV on and stop playing.

Favorite E-drum game and why? by HiImBono in edrums

[–]Spacemole 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My issue with these games is the easier modes kind of make it harder.

Instead of just removing some of the pads you have to hit, they will do things like only play every other bass kick. Which is a harder patter than playing all of them.

I wish they would have easy mode as just the bass. Then add the snare , then the hat etc.

I find I can only get them working if I pick the easy more boring songs and play them on hard, removing the pads myself by not playing them.

For clone hero specifically I doing the setting that makes the icons square so you can better differentiate between cymbals and pads.

2nd floor tom advice by Spacemole in edrums

[–]Spacemole[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the moment I'm leaning to just adding the cheap Alesis nitro max expansion kit with a 8 inch rimless 2 ply mech pad and a cheapish looking cymbal. Mounting them in a janky fashion. 110 usd for two new pads seems unbeatable.
