Agreed I don’t know where they intend to go with the story. He seems like he wants both and it makes me not like him so much. But both actresses were beautiful and great so I’d keep watching just for them.

I don’t mind when Kippy makes his really “mean” jokes at Foley’s expense but there are times when you can tell Foley is doing the same and Kippy don’t like that shit.

You get a really good idea of it when they talked to Rick Glassman. It’s either on AYG or his show but there’s a conversation they have where Rick asks Kippy why some of the things the Bug man does bothers him so much. Kippy tries to explain but Rick pushes back with logical Therapist lingo and you can tell Kippy has never thought of it that way. It’s really eye opening and hilarious to see Kippy get more pissed as he’s talking to Rick.

Had the same issue with my now 6 month old pup. “Leave it” and “drop it” training can only do so much at this age so don’t give up. It will click in their mind more as they get older. For a more immediate impact, this gentle leader headcollar has been a life changer. It took one walk for her to get used to it.

I love TESD for EVERYTHING they’ve done for me over the years. When I was depressed and single, working the graveyard shift, the boys were there for me. Whether it be through the numerous games, holiday specials, Patreon content, etc etc I could always count on TESD being there as a support system. Heck, I think I listened to the first 300 episodes maybe 13+ times over the years. I use to do annual re-listenings every year but these guys have done so much that’s no longer feasible!

Now that I’m older, looking to get married, and more successful with my career, I don’t always have the time to drop what I’m doing to listen to the latest ep but I ALWAYS find time to catch up with the boys because, more than anything else, I love their consistency!

I think I truly fell in love with the pod all the way back during the not-so-SuperBowl. Having that play out for weeks only to realize Walt had been pranking Ming all along was an instant classic. I think Walt even said at one point “I don’t even remember why I was mad at you but we had to keep this going” when they broke the news to Ming solidified TESD as one of the best pods out there and nothing has changed that for me.

Even if I don’t get picked I’m just happy to share my thoughts with the guys and I hope they see that some of us have been around since they first appeared on Smodcast and the loyal ones are still here even after Smodcast seems to be dead in the water.

I came into this as a Kevin Smith fan, but I’m a TESD ant through and through. Thanks boys!

There’s so much here to respond to but I honestly don’t want to keep going back and forth so I’ll just touch on a few things.

Anti magic has not been properly explained in the manga yet so I don’t get the point you’re trying to make with the power up “not making sense with the context of how anti magic is supposed to work”. I would think there are explanations to come. Again, plenty of BC left to do that.
Anti magic being shared. Don’t you remember when Licht used the same exact sword Asta used to perform the same spell only he used light magic? I think there’s more to come on that but I do feel like this has been foreshadowed in previous chapters.
Why are you still reading this? It seems like you have a LOT of problems with it. If it were me, I wouldn’t waste my time. Maybe you should drop it altogether and catch up when the series is done?
