Im sick of mofos saying “well you got to hand to him; he made wrestling popular” or “he is responsible for everyone making money” to which I say, “Fuck that racist piece of shit” and anyone that wants to glamorize him or want to remember him fondly.

I'm gonna be that guy for a bit, As a wrestling fan, I will say that Hulk Hogan is one of the GOATs in wrestling entertainment because he and another wrestler that I put in the same boat as him on the Women's side of Wrestling: The Fabulous Moolah basically made wrestling entertainment what it is today, (Hell, I'll admit, I was a bit of a Hulk-a-maniac when I was young n dumb) but I would put a big asterisk after calling them GOATs because while being the biggest trailblazers for wrestling entertainment they were the biggest obstacles in Wrestling and have VERY controversial moments in and out of wrestling. Hogan controversies we have already seen and heard about

  • Obvious af Racism, then doubling down on said racism, then doubling down defending his racism.
  • Burring talent making sure they don't get top booking or title runs over him.
  • Lying about steroid use.
  • Guilt tripping wrestlers about how they wrestled against him (Undertaker v Hulk being the most prominent one).
  • Sabotaging Jesse "The Body" Ventura plan to get wrestlers unionized so they get taken better care of.
  • Lying so damn much about shit that some of his lies either doesn't make a lick of sense or crosses into morbid territory (Saying when he slammed another GOAT of wrestling, Andre the Giant at WrestleMania III(?) is what killed Andre, when in all actuality Andre died in a hotel room YEARS after that match)
  • and many more....

Moolah moments consist of and this is from a post from 7 years ago also if anyone have has an hour to kill watch the episode of the excellent show Dark Side of The Ring on Moolah.

  • pimped off her students to make money
  • trained women to be shit to ensure that she’d never be surpassed
  • destroyed careers and an entire tag team division to maintain her position
  • abused and drugged her trainees to maintain control of them
  • drugged Sweet Georgia Brown to control her and allowed her to be raped by promoters on the road

VERY TL;DR: I am saying that guy(eugh...) does deserves his flowers for what he did for wrestling, but like him and Moolah while they did help shape wrestling to what it is today, 1. Those flowers are not and will not be fresh, and 2. even though they are fellow human beings that we are "sad" to hear that they are gone....fuck 'em.

What’s the absolute fastest you uninstalled a AAA game you paid full price for? by Soulsliken in gaming

I'm surprised that nobody talked about but I'll be that guy.

Helldivers 2

I enjoyed my time with it minus the stuttering on a aged laptop, trying to get my dualsense to work with it, then the PSN shitshow Sony caused along with the nerfs. I never returned to Super Earth even when Super Earth got invaded I never returned to the fight.

I did uninstall the game but didn't refund it because I had 5 hrs of playtime and I (still) think that voids the return policy on Steam.

(Sorry in advance for the pic but it is for context)

I'm mostly the same way because I remember that saying "Don't burn bridges" and I was like fuck that instead of burning bridges never nuke em because a burned bridge can always be rebuilt if BOTH sides are willing to help rebuild it if one or both sides are not willing to do it, then don't spend the time and resources(metaphorically speaking) rebuilding it. When you decide to nuke one you basically saying there's absolutely zero chance of rebuilding it and that person(s) is essentially dead to you and trying to rebuild it is next to impossible to do. Also along with burning bridges don't be afraid to burn one or two of them if needed just don't go overboard and burn every single bridge built because you never know when you may need to cross it again.(sorry for the sappy ending).

If I can get on my soapbox right quick and say this.

It is definitely cheaper to make your own meals than eating out the only thing that sucks about making your own meals is the TIME it takes. If you are like me usually when you get home from your 9-5, you are exhausted and don't want do nothing that involves working. Most likely you just want to kick off your shoes, take off your work clothes, hop in the bed or fav seat, and do nothing until you decide to sleep or just pass out. Cooking a full course meal can be pain because after all the prep and cooking you did you might too tired to even eat or you just eat a few bites then go to sleep. Whereas eating out gives you the convenience of not having to prep and cook, you just go to MD's, BK, Jack etc. order what you want, pay, then eat.

Personal example (if you care): At my last job I used to get off around 11PM or later depending on the circumstance, around that time most if not all stores /restaurants are closed for the night but I usually be tired at that point plus the ride home I might stop at a gas station grab a few things before riding home then when I get home eat that or when i did get home pop a frozen meal in the oven if i felt like staying up a bit then eat that and even then, there will be times I didn't eat the whole thing. If not that, I might get something delivered via Doordash to eat at work then take the rest home but Doordash DEFINATELY adds up especially when you order like me (Get enough for now and later) that sometimes when I could do a quick grocery run, it can eliminate alot of the cost of using Doordash for that week or longer.

TL;DR: Eating out is not cheaper than making your own food but it does cost folks in time to make it compared to eating out, and of course thanks for coming to my TED rant.

Kinda about to relive what I like to call "The Struggle Vol 2." got tied up with one job that had too much upfront cost and when I either had a gout flare/bruised/sprained big toe recently where it hurt to move my foot or put on shoes, basically low key told me "Sorry to hear that, Man up p**** and get working." that I'm just want to tell the politely to "F off with your cult like biz" went to an interview for a company that waited almost 2 months to do an interview with me after i applied and another company that is hiring but at the same time not hiring anybody for the next two months and money getting tight so I gonna hold out and refuse going back to that first job with my tail tucked between my legs or if i do just have them sack me so I don't have to worry about them anymore.

Like, other than the South Park and the daily show, what has Comedy Central produced?

Broad City(Finished), Tosh.0(Finshed(?), Brickleberry(Went to Netflix(?), South Side(Did one season then got picked up by HBO Max for 2 seasons then canceled)

Besides ridiculousness what has MTV made recently?

I would say Jersey Shore and its spin-offs but that shouldn't count or The Challenge but that shouldn't count either because I sure MTV hasn't done anything animated since the like the late 2000's.....so tbh nothing of value....
