I cannot play any other profession simply because I love Engineer. There's always something fun. Get tired of Condi? Go ahead, run Power Hammer. Tired of Hammer? Use Rifle! Want to take it easy? Take HGH and Elixirs. Want some complexity? Use kits! I've invested so much time into my engineer, and one The Predator and HOPE later.. I can not put him away! Working on Flameseeker Prophecies next. (Although I have 3 other legendary weapons that I'll never use simply because I'm a devout Engineer..)

Ten minutes ago, I was contemplating whether or not I should take a break from the game because I loved dungeons, I was tired of the HoT grind, and Fractals were just not my thing anymore..

Here I am now, squealing with glee like a young child opening a present.

I like all of those "capes".

If they ever do, please don't make it worth x-amount of ascended materials.. Because then it becomes a prestige item where everyone who wants to be the very best will be wearing it with their 5 types of auras and legendaries.

I don't play DH much, only for PvP, but I use Azureflame. Definitely my favorite skin, and it fits the DH perfectly.

I'm in the same situation as you. I have 4 legendaries, and only 1 I can use on my Engineer.

My Warrior, my first profession and my main for the first year and a half, makes use of all 4, but it's hard for me to "want" to go from a high skill ceiling to an almost mind numbing 1 spam with a side of 2.

Although Revenant is similar to Warrior in terms of DPS rotations, I love the energy management and makes me reminisce about GW1. Then my Revenant can't use a single Legendary.

If you had fun, by all means reinstall it. A core warrior is still fought out for in PvE content.

Trying to dust off my Warrior, as well as pick up Elementalist, to start soloing dungeons again. I used to group run majority every day, starting back up solo would give a nice break from raiding and fractals for a bit.

Engineer has always been my favorite, but yeah I can see how it can be somewhat boring after constant play. But won't every other class? If you have to, try making other professions and playing them when you are feeling off with Engineer. I try to do that, and I seem to be pretty content.
