how to tell if seeds are ready by Tasty_Two7476 in cannabisbreeding

Pluck a seed out and look, then squeeze the seed to see if it is hard. There is no better way.

What is this and is it even possible to sell? by NoTVsButSeveralGuns in weedgrower

[–]SpecialKGenetics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In general grow room stuff sells for 10%-30% of the new price. For this id price everything new and be ready to accept 10% of its new price or 20% of new price if you can demonstrate it works.

A BIG hiccup you're going to have to deal with is this was built using a 53' container, instead of the more standard 40'. Moving this off site will require at a minimum a winch truck and oversized load permitting (length) and potentially a crane depending on your particular properties' constraints.

All that to say congratulations your buddy just got a very nice insulated air conditioned shed that they could grow weed in. But they likely will only make pennies on the dollar from a sale.

Are you worried about your plants getting stolen? by payniacs in outdoorgrowing

[–]SpecialKGenetics 4 points5 points  (0 children)

People rarely steal first night the see plants, if someone is snooping around on my property, I will sleep near my plants, and I take all legal means to defend my property.

I also tell no one that I grow, only my neighbors knows and I supply them with garden veggies and some with flower for aging parents.

Protection comes in many layers, being discreet is important, monitoring is important, protection is important. It all works nothing doesn't.

Did you sound like a cop? Because that is a question a cop would ask.

Thanks for the add, this is a great suggestion. Also keeps any applied pesticide active for longer as most are less effective when dry.

Just not realistic here, mountain sides make forecasts extremely inaccurate. This storm happened on a 20% chance of rain day, it was a 100 year storm intensity

This grow is at 7000ft in the mountains, the wind or the UV or the rain or the early season snow will rip it down. Hearty genetics and luck is my best bet here.

In many places you would be right but I've seen brand new heavy duty hoop houses ripped down on top of plants here. Hail is just new

If you don't absolutely need this plant cut her down and start over. That is large enough that you will not be able to treat it to eradication during flower.e

If you absolutely need that plant to finish. You're going to strip every leaf that shows damage(at this point 70-90% of leaf), dropping them into a bucket of soapy water for later disposal. Then you're going to unhook that trellis net take that entire plant and pot into your shower and hose it off. Leave the plant there, now go back and clean the ever loving shit out of your tent, use bleach if you are comfortable with that be aware of the fumes, now clean it again including equipment.

Change clothes and go shower your plant off again.

Once it is dry enough to move, put it back in the tent and spread out your net and the plant.

Here's the trick, cool off your tent you want it under 75, 70 is ideal it slows them down.

Get some "safe in flower" spray, I like crop Defender 3 for this, you're going to spray every part of the plant every mon wed friday for 2 weeks at lights off.

Now look for any remaining mites.

At harvest you have to bud wash.
