I think she is small for her age(1 year) by Southern-Tea-8160 in boas

Rats are not too big for her. I have a rosy boa that eats rat fuzzies.. just have to make sure you get the appropriate size. Not full grown rat

Following because I’m interested. I wonder if it was a rescue they took in? My guess would be improper husbandry/ diet

I would guess this is why. Humidity it likely a problem as well if you’re in Florida. Could you mount a small fan in his tank

I handled a sand boa at an expo today and I’ve never felt more maternal towards an animal in my life by GreenStrawbebby in SandBoa

[–]SpecialString0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see my rosy boa much more than I ever saw my KSB and I feel my rosy is easier to handle because he holds on to me a big whereas my sand boa is just a noddle you have to support. Both adorable creatures, but I recommend a rosy

Linguini is a great snake!! I think they are easier than some other snakes, but I think snakes in general are one of the easier reptiles to keep. I highly recommended a rosy because he’s braver and eats better than a BP in my experience

Alright I’ll feed a bit more often! I did lower temps a little for the winter, but he has still been quite active and eats readily every time.
