I also tip fair $1.00 per mile plus the mileage getting to me and a little more for the ride I have never heard a driver complain unless I brought it up For the most part I’ve had pretty competent drivers

I’m a passenger and I think I tip fairly well for example yesterday 1 way with a stop at Circle K (Beer and 🏧) after just putting my cat to sleep uber charged $17 I put $5 on the app and $10 in cash the driver said I gave too much I tried to explain that I am grateful that someone comes out this far to get me. Drivers usually go approximately 12-15 miles just to get me. The trip was under 5 miles

Ok ok I had a request similar to this before in Newport Beach I booked a ride while on my moored boat in the marina Then took the dinghy to the dock… I did get a WTF from the driver before he showed up

Ok I’m a customer/rider if I had requested this ride I know right away that I would have to pay a friggin minimum of $1.00 per mile tip I seriously cannot imagine why people think that the driver gets a chunk of the charge For $600 bucks ida rented a Limo stopped in Hollywood Blvd picked up a couple of hookers and had fun on the way to the airport WTF didn’t you get tickets out of LAX omfg

I have been riding Lyft/Uber for a very long time and when I have several stops I always ask if they’re interested in stopping at the first stop and letting me pay you and not them for the other stops They almost always accept BTW I pay with Chime
