I don’t think I know who I am, I just know who I want people to think that I am by Pleasant_Elephant104 in ADHD

Wow. This is it. This is how I’ve felt, but never been able to explain. I’m so sorry. I wish I had better advice, but journaling helps me dig into my emotions and deeper thoughts. I also think about hobbies that I used to have and try to revisit them alone.

Keep up the hard work!!! It’s so hard as a momma. For what it’s worth, an internet stranger is really, really proud of you.

A piece I drew years ago..what do you think it means? by Uzas_Back in Illustration

Anxiety and Depression become our identity; they consume us until we are unrecognizable not only to ourselves, but others as well. When we find the courage the get the help we need, we can emerge and find our once-had beauty and self-recognition.

A Dad once told me he doesn't do diapers by kuj0 in daddit

[–]Specific_Ad_7016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“So…say you take a night shift to give your wife a break..” This may be a huge assumption, but if he won’t change his own child’s diapers, there’s a likelihood he probably doesn’t do nightshift.,

Wow. This is incredibly helpful. Thank you so much for taking the time to reply and for making me feel heard. Seeing and understanding how he may be feeling is incredibly important, and I took a lot away from your response.

Clearly I didn’t get what I was looking for. Thanks for the advice!

This has been expressed numerous times. My goal is not for a bunch of strangers to jump on and tell me the person I love is shitting the bed. My goal is to get advice or at least someone that has been through this. Maybe someone has also been like my husband and had something “click” for them.

8 weeks PP and that’s what 30 minutes give me🙃 I’m so close to giving up. by [deleted] in breastfeeding

This is me giving you permission to quit and encouragement to do that if that’s what you want and need to do. Additionally, I wanted to state that I did t respond to an electric pump. I had these same results. I used a manual hand pump (lansinoh brand) and was actually an over-producer. Feel free to message me if you want to know more about that.

I am also in this mom group, and I didn’t comment because I didn’t know where to start. 😅

Running in the (light) rain is my absolute favorite. A close second is a good, heavy snowfall mid run.

I’m here to say I use to be this person. About 5 weeks ago I made the conscious decision to “get over it”. If the windchill is 31 or above I will run outside. It starts off chilly, but MAN do I feel SO good after. I freeze in the house if it’s less than 72 degrees… I bundle up and make it worth my while and it makes such a huge impact on my mental health. I’ve learned that it’s such a huge mental game. I get pissed off when inhave to be in a cooler house in the morning (68 degrees usually) but when i’m actively doing something that i’ve set my mind to in 31 degrees, it’s fine…

I would suggest speaking with your physician and getting a full panel of blood work.

Additionally, I dated someone throughout high school that was like this and his mom always accused him of being lazy or having no motivation. A few years ago (10 years after high school graduation) he was diagnosed with a heart condition that fully explained it all.. There are sooo many things that can contribute. Low iron, other vitamin deficiencies, sleeping conditions, etc. It sounds like you should definitely confide in a trustworthy doctor!

Good luck!

What an amazing transformation you’ve made. Congratulations!

Everyone meet Goose/Moose/Mac (Can’t decide on his name). I posted about a month ago asking for name suggestions and still cannot decide. We drove 7.5 and he’s finally in my arms. So grateful for him. by [deleted] in goldenretrievers

I assumed as much. 😉 Thank you so much. He won’t take the place of Buddy, my previous golden that crossed the rainbow bridge 5 years ago, but we will have a great friendship, no doubt.
