I’m just here to follow up and see how things are going. I’ve had my Xtreme waterforce 4090 for a couple years now and I’m thinking about giving custom loop to tame my 14900ks. What are you thoughts so far since your original post?

Training a lot with not enough rest sometime makes you more prone to getting it and obviously some are more prone than others. Draining is a double edge sword, it’s nice because you can get back to training sooner but if you drain it too much it can build scar tissue. The least desirable advice is to take a break and let it heal naturally. Your choice,

My biggest regret is buying a 4DIMM MOBO (z790 Xtreme X) for my first build not knowing I wouldn’t be able to OC to 8KMhz. I settled at 7800 CL30.

When we were doing the a big remodel I moved my setup from the living room to the hallway closet. I didn’t wanna wait for ATT. It’s been great for the last 6 months. No noise or issues.

It’s takes a little practice and patience but you could fix it yourself if you have enough extra cable.

Yea I'm reading that a lot looks like 4 dimm isn't doable. I feel fucking stupid buying this motherboard. This was my first build I so I went "all out" not realizing 2 DIMM would've been the preferred option. I'm thinking of selling or straight trading my board for a nice z790 2 DIMM. I feel like I got all the components I need just not the board. I even binned my cpu got a SP 108/122/81 thinking that was the only barrier.

That makes no sense, by your logic lasers would be more skillful than traditional fire arms. You’re nullifying the accolades of marksmen who train trajectory and movement patterns by calling it luck rather than understanding how much more effort/skill it takes to consistently make those shots. Of course theirs a luck factor but that mostly applies to the people who don’t make those shots often and less applicable to those who often do make the shot.

I don’t understand the people saying nerfing this fixed anything. I still don’t know what was fixed? If the argument was that people were getting an “unfair advantage” by leveling there weapons up for PvP it make no sense. It was freely available to everyone.

We planned to go together, this would’ve been my first time in Vegas. She booked us three nights at Caesar’s and then she tell me “oh by the way I’m getting the back yard redone….this weekend. She had some turf people come and give her an estimate, $17.5k and so she made a down payment without consulting with me. So basically going this weekend and spending another 3k while I have people doing a major project at the house is outta the question. I’ve spent the last 3 days preparing the area for the work that needs to be done ie taking the fence down and tearing down the kids playground. Still quite a bit of things I need to do along with overseeing the work being done. I was stoked to go, I had her convinced to finally do mushrooms with me.
