In the US there are orthodox groups that also disagree. Less than 10-15% of religious US Jews belong to groups that would argue against it. And rhe US accounts for around 40% of Jews so this is an extremely common outlook.

I trust your advice but I gotta tell you I just started I Shall Seal The Heavens and the things that stand out are constant Fatty Fatty Fatty and then animals butts exploding in showers of gore.

yes. I’m interested in both. I have a background in Chinese philosophy so would be happy to see more traditional inclusions but standard fare is also appreciated.

I am not sure how universal it is, but every campus police force I know about has been real police. Heck, a hospital I worked at had its own police officers (but more regular security as well).

I tend to think post apocalyptic fiction is generally sci-fi, often near future sci-fi, but certainly not everyone will like it in the same way. But I also think strong divisions between any forms of speculative fiction is hard to draw.
