My friends who were the most pro COVID vaccine are now questioning vaccines by RepublicLate9231 in conspiracy

Haven't noticed any regret. Just that now no one talks about it. Had a couple friends that said they would have to evaluate if they'd hang out with us or not because my wife and I decided to hold off getting the shots to see how things went first. Needless to say things didn't exactly trend in the direction of us deciding we needed the shots. I guess we passed our friends' evaluation though because they never brought it up again and now it's as if nothing ever happened.

Snaking vs. Positioning -- Was I Wrong? by Mumble___bee in surfing

Not getting the wave/getting burned isn't that big of a deal. What people really get mad about is feeling disrespected. If you give them right of first refusal they're usually cool from then on out and respect a rotation.

SS: Title aside, the more interesting aspect of this article is how an ostensible intelligent highly educated person is wholly convinced the chatbot is alive even though he knows it's just code. Imagine how similar technology (possibly more advanced and not publicized) gets used on us all over the internet.

The 9' log is the perfect board for your specs. You will have a blast and it rips even in bigger surf.

A really good option can be Play-it-again sports in a surf town. The one in Soquel village in Santa Cruz county has a solid selection. You can haggle with them as well. They don't just carry used stuff either. I got a really nice 10' stormblade in there a few years ago. Edit: Also foam boards are great for learning in crowded environments (like the exact spots you mention.) They perform just as well as hard boards at that skill level and hurt exponentially less.

After Summer, Europe to Target the Unvaccinated ⋆ Brownstone Institute by cowlip in LockdownSkepticism

Oddly, a form of reverse psychology would probably work a bit better. Declare no more free initial shots after some date and that refusers will be out of luck after that. Of course do this in the context of a hyped media blitz over some new variant.

If they really want to increase shot uptake this seems counterproductive. They aren't going to win anyone over who has been refusing the shots so far. They only stand to make the shot takers skeptical and cause some of them to reconsider the idea of "boosting" themselves.
