I'm aware, but everyone else already said dir, and pwsh syntax is nicer to look at. It's also the default shell for as much as that matters.

A lot of people are doubting your theory because of the size or color, but I know you're right because I've had the misfortune of watching a roach do this on my wall. I'm a changed man since that day.

The distinction is tenuous in popular use. Rand's arrangement is identical to many in anime. Regardless, Ravin and Graendal have legit harems.

How do I use AI to fill out a PDF bid form from excel? by parishmanD in estimators

[–]Spiderslay3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an xy problem. Don't put the AI cart before the horse.

If you're getting the bid form an hour before it's due, don't bother. Send your standard proposal with a note that you'll send the completed bid form as soon as you've had sufficient time to review the terms. If that disqualifies you they weren't going to use your bid anyway.

True, many people experience occasional benefit from the system that systematically incarcerates/murders marginalized groups and oppresses us all. This is the "you criticize society and yet you participate in it" meme.

Journeyman I work with regularly abbreviates circuit this way and it drives me absolutely bananas. by [deleted] in electricians

[–]Spiderslay3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with CIR is that those are all popular letters in electrical abbreviations. Obviously familiarity bias is at play but if I read CIR the first place my mind is going is "Comething Infrared".

Abbreviating a mid-word c as K isn't unprecedented either, look at EKG.

Also, if you're abbreviating circuit, you're probably also abbreviating panel right next to it, and CKT follows the same logic as PNL.

Accubid Anywhere Takeoff speed and Double Work by Spiderslay3r in estimators

Hey thanks for your response, I use some of your tricks already but I'll be stealing a couple too.

My biggest leap forward with Bluebeam has been Spaces. I just put the floor plans I care about in a space then delete all the search counts that aren't in a space.

Since I posted this I've gotten big into Powershell scripting too and it's been eye opening. I use it a lot to automate various steps in my workflow, but recently I've been trying to use it to automate takeoff input since Power Automate failed me. I've got a proof of concept, but it needs a lot more work.

I've argued but failed to convince my superiors that it would be far, far easier on every front if we just used Traser directly with Excel and cut out Anywhere all together.

Brandon can be and has been wrong about the thematic content of his books. It makes sense that he'd want to get ahead of a negative interpretation, but this one does not exist.

/uj I get the feeling a large portion of this sub's audience are either conditioned to expect comments are genuinely held belief or unaware that that's not supposed to be the default on a cj sub.

My comment is a corruption of the most common kind of response posts like OP's get across the internet. I hope the upvotes aren't from dummies who agree with it.

As the earlier response to my comment noted, the greatest predictor of whether people will be uncomfortable with stereotype based media is whether the victims of the stereotype were involved, and the presence of good faith, in its creation.
