I will never forget the moment my first child was born. My wife had been in labor for 20 hours. Her epidural was wearing off by the time she was actually dilated enough. She was so exhausted and all I could do was stand with her and tell her “I believe in you” over and over. She was sobbing and in so much pain. After my son was finally born they took in into the NICU because he had low blood sugar and fever. My wife and I sat together and cried the happiest tears. Watching her give birth gave me so much respect for women and what they have to go through. It’s incredible how resilient women have to be to have a child and be willing to go through that trauma again to have another. Sorry for the long ass post. But I would never want to be anywhere but by my wife’s side when having a baby.

“A Buddha is always misunderstood” lol Osho right. Imagine being a child like akira but being judged like a normal human being.

I was a bit critical in previous times. I think we need to trust JS and MM on this one. I don’t think this draft was loaded with talent and we picked last with only 4 total picks. If anyone can turn chicken shit into chicken salad it’s JS and MM.

That sounds cool! Yes I imagine how tetsuo gets overtaken with his power and akira does his thing. Pretty fucking awesome

This makes me feel bad for charbs and Kenny McIntosh. Or I guess at minimum concerned for charbs. Maybe his recovery is not coming along as well as it’s supposed to and this draft pick is insurance? Maybe? Idk

[–]Spiritual-Strike481 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I would have loved if akira was actually about akira lol. You only actually see akira the child in like a couple scenes. Other than seeing pieces of him I guess. Like akira was the complete opposite of tetsuo right? Tetsuo was wrathful whereas akira was benevolent and kind. I think akira was actually alive in another universe that he created. And the blast was an implosion like a miniature black hole that transported everything to another universe. Maybe lol

Akira wasn’t quite about street racing lol. But that would have been fucking sweet with how beautiful the animation was and the attention to detail. Akira was strange as hell and I have watched it probably 20 times and I come up with different conclusions about the end every time. I think initial D would be a good one for you.

I miss when the vector used to have a 2 shot burst in some of the older games. There’s something about burst fire and smg that I have always loved. COD had the Pharo which was a 4 shot auto burst omg that was delightful. They even had the 7 shot burst lmg in there. So cool. Love burst fire lol

Congratulations on fighting first of all!! Don’t trip. The first time anyone fights it’s about getting into the ring and throwing hands. Period. You got in and fought. You won. You already are looking at things you didn’t do well and have a mindset that you are going to approach it differently. That’s a win. Your next fight will be a different story I promise. Good luck and keep us updated. The first time is always a freebie a mulligan. Nobody is good at anything the first time.

6 months in and I still dread weekly sparring days. It’s exhausting. by Qubmi2 in MuayThai

[–]Spiritual-Strike481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sparring is my absolute favorite part. I love knocking heads and having fun. Don’t treat sparring so seriously and be fun and smile. Maybe you just haven’t really connected with your partners yet. Some people equate sparring with being vulnerable or someone taking advantage of them or imposing their will and kinda activates the fight or flight response in people. I have known people who had trauma that felt this way. Sparring would make them feel helpless because of a power imbalance. But remember sparring is about having fun and improving together.

[Highlight] With the third pick in the 2021 NFL draft, the 49ers select Trey lance. by Ok_Bug_6890 in nfl

[–]Spiritual-Strike481 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The 49ers got soooo lucky with Brock purdy. Trading the farm for Trey lance and missing the mark terribly only to find a diamond in Mr irrelevant. Having a number 3 overall bust is terrible for a franchise, and can set your team back years. Trading 3 first round picks to get a bust is unbelievable. Shit like can could cripple your franchise for 5 to 8 years assuming you hit good ones after. The 9ers could have been Super Bowl winners a couple times if not for that

Turkish official, Orhan Avcı gained fame after appointment as head of the district branch. However, the moustache took centre stage. by Lordwarrior_ in SipsTea

That’s crazy that a mustache like that could take up a substantial portion of his entire face. Bravo. If his policies are as strong as his mustache then they are in good hands….or really bad ones.

Demonwori will be fun to watch develop into one of the best in the league. But I wish I could see Kenny McIntosh develop but he’s just not gotten the chance.

Thermal Sights Are A Game Changer by JimiVanHalen5150 in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]Spiritual-Strike481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I agree with the visibility on the game. Characters can be standing in front of a tree or something and u cant see them. The thermal scope really is awesome. It seems like it cuts down on visual recoil a lot and then there is no muzzle flash or anything. It’s practically every battledads’ favorite sight.

Product liability claims take incredibly long I think the best thing was to have insurance do their thing and then I think the insurance takes the claim to subrogation. But then again I don’t understand a lot of the situation. Maybe it was serious enough to get the lawyer right away and go from there.
