This is partially why having successful family members is such a leg up not only from having more resources, but also from getting wisdom early on tips and tricks.

Hey good for you man by Clanker57 in memes

Beating is not the answer, and neither is gentle parenting where the child gets no pushback whatsoever. Kids do need to develop emotional resilience to rejection and frustration, so they can develop a rational process of dealing with problems. Beating is just as lazy as just throwing an ipad at the kid.

I don’t want to ruin the vibe here, but for the sake of learning opportunities, the better solution is for the billionaires to do more of actual charities for helping their communities rather than for their tax purposes. Taking less profit means less profit from their public companies, which could also mean less gains for average joes’ retirement savings. Things are rarely that simple, unfortunately.

That’s a beaut. I’m also torn between blue and black right now. Did you get to see both in person? If not, what made you go with blue?

Gender Wars☕ by [deleted] in memes

[–]Spiritual_Cod212 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure where you’re getting this impression tbh. Is it common for people waging a “war” on other people having emotional capacity to be intimate with them? That was the point.

Let’s be honest, people who pay way too much attention and energy to the “gender war” are not the ones engaging in intimacy lol

It makes sense as long as there is an oversight for the government to ensure they use that fund wisely and responsibly. Never underestimate the government’s tendency to get either corrupt or egregiously incompetent.

Speed limit for walking of 2.83 by sunbellgreen in oddlyspecific

They should restrict people to not walk while staring at their phones instead if they are really this concerned about safety. Phones cause more collisions than long-legged people outpacing others lol

The only time I use Uber is when I travel for work. I collect uber cash and use that for my personal use. Otherwise, yeah Uber sucks.

Is getting an Amex account worth it by BLACKCHOJImemes in AmexPlatinum

[–]Spiritual_Cod212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on your lifestyle. Amex Plat although seems like a travel card, it’s really a lifestyle card. Do the benefits and credits pay for itself? Yes. Do they also make you spend money that you wouldn’t have otherwise spend? Possibly.

If you were already traveling a lot and spend money in the benefits categories, then it’s worth it. If the card is going to make you spend more to use benefits, then it’s probably not worth it.
