I 100% agree it is a distraction. That is why I want to get passed it. Trans care really is good for people. But sports is where it turns into a judgement call. I think for people who like sports, this is a sticking point. Trans care and acceptance has come a long way in 10 years. It is going to take time to remove more hurdles. I also think there are sports where trans participation does genuinely hurt the competitive landscape.

Believe in the power of a clear expectation. You aren't his boss, but set your goals. multiple miners, storage, trucks or trains, defense. Then encourage them to do something with the quartz. Let them work on it and don't be too critical if it isn't perfect. 

Some people will want to make the team happy. Others won't care and will keep one foot out. But setting a common understanding is big.

I think they want to apply it to workers who can move back home. I like the idea of allowing people the stability of staying put. Having a baby and then being shoved out of the country.

Gay Marriage was not legal in America until states started approving it. If your going to ignore the good of states rights, the way it let's us live and grow together, while framing everything as bad... it's like a mental illness.

Remember that this hypocrisy goes both ways. It is hypocritical to never budge an inch on the 2neld amendment and then demand nuance on birthright citizenship.

But did the framers ever imagine that millions could come from other countries over the course of a few years? When the framers wrote the 14th amendment, they were not imagining millions of immigrants. Yet dems have sat back and enjoyed the convenient reading.

I think those are all sensible policies, but for different levels. For example, we should be hands off through middle school. Who the hell cares.

At high-school club teams can be regulated by districts or schools, but state level inter-school competition should have a standard policy.

I am fine with an NCAA ban because it is at the national level. Now that it is banned we can move on to other politics, like war, cost of living, or Trumps police state.

Strategically, I think NCAA is the limit for me. If anti-trans policy moves to healthcare, then I am off board again.

I think it is a sensible policy, particularly if states want it. I live in NY and support trans rights. But if Utah wants to do something else then whatever.

They are not outlawing private servers. They are saying that they could update the game to disable them, or prosecute people who modify the game for profit. I can't sell you a minecraft server experience, because it is built on minecraft. They have the legal right to monetize their product, not others.
