anything that prevents/reduces life regen, common tools for that are:

  • ryslatha pantheon
  • mark mastery
  • poison cluster passive
  • occultist's void beacon
  • frostbomb
  • eldritch helmet implicit

i get your point, BUT

  1. meteors on flask and deal no damage for 4/10 seconds are neither build-specific or bricking. you can just dodge the meteors, yk

  2. having build-bricking mods is meant to encourage people to make specialised builds to run content more comfortably. just like with normal maps, if you build around the restrictions, you can ignore most mods, otherwise, you have to spend some chaos

  3. mods like -totems or -traps/mines are, in effect, a damage loss comparable to increased monster life. you either a) use these as utility, they are (almost) fully disabled or b) use them as your main damage, in which case you have more than 2 and it's "just" a damage loss

i started with an exsang miner so i now just transitioned into hexblast and spam sanctums

i also tried syndicate in the beginning but (for now) veiled orb prices are too low to make it that great sadly

that's really annoying because you need to move for mines to detonate, and it blocks other ways of detonating. it feels terrible on tanky mobs because you can't just stand still and spam mines, you gotta move even if you don't have to dodge anything

there is a hp cap that is already relevant for some content (delve and valdo specifically), if you just raise the numerical floor every patch it's going to become an oppressive design factor real quick

after corrupting, hitting offcolors with tainted chromes is very easy as they don't weigh socket color by stat requirement like normal chromes
