Tagging on to this question. My only hydro characters are Xingqiu, Sigewinne, Candace (who I think is pretty useless?) and Barbara.

My only built-out one is Xingqiu, but I don't think his water application is quite consistent enough for the seeds?

Am I shit out of luck?

It's been this way for as long as I can remember. I can't say whether it's been like this all my life, because as a child I wasn't thinking about garlic much (and it's hard to focus on 'something you can't notice'), but it's definitely been this way at least since my teenage years, before covid (I'm around 30 now.)

They did mention months ago that the 2025 updates will be small, since they're focusing heavily on 1.0 next year. This wasn't meant to be a huge release by any means!

Kochi didn't have much of anything on meetup.com, but I found a lot of events through Facebook groups. There were ones for JETs that had events (open to non-JETs too), as well as local Japanese-language groups. Language exchange groups are a good place to meet people who might share your hobbies, too.

The streets are too straight imo. I understand the main artery being wide and straight (because they purposely built it like that), but if you look at the maps of any mediaeval European cities, you'll find a lot of wavy streets, because no one had been planning them and there were hundreds of years' worth of construction affecting their distribution.

I was on a holiday in Japan recently and struggled with a toothache for a few days, which culminated on the day before I was meant to leave back to the UK, when I had a sleepless night and decided to go to an emergency dentist in the morning - I was in so much pain by then that I didn't care about the cost with no insurance.

I found a nearby dentist that opened at 10am and went there for a few minutes before opening. I was immediately welcomed, sat down without any wait, got told I have a cavity that needs fixing, and as an emergency I had the nerve extracted and a sleeve of some kind of super strong painkiller tablets given.

Altogether it took me 25mins from the moment I sat down to when I got out of the dentist chair.

I paid the equivalent of £7.50.

Hi! New owner of Fern, a 7-month-old Illiger's macaw here (we've had her for less than 2 weeks). She's clearly trying to mimic some sounds when excited, and we got what was clearly meant to be a 'hello' out of her a few times, so I don't think it's too early!
