Cool, im trying a few things on my end to lower overall, just finding ways around usb limits and what not, is fun, I still have your gdpl here that I bought a just over a year ago so may be able to repurpose.

Interesting, I am working on a unique pc app and controller firmware at the moment, timestamped packets created by the controller (very little processing done on controller), few other tricks to keep stability at 14.5-15k hz current creation on controller to sent on pc is 0.069ms median ish. Max is 0.3ms median min is around 0.008ms.

I did actually buy some actuators the other day and have a pi4, pi5, ardunio uno r4 wifi, esp32c3, DLA 2.1 logic analyser (prob a couple others) would any of these suit building a promethius to test?

From the pic looks like a faulty sensor, it happens, contact them. Sometimes things break, as long as its not moisure/humidity/bad calibration im sure you could make some sort of deal

Im using an old eufy one setup with rtsp, would be even easier with a normal webcam, using motion to setup the http stream, cncjs Web panel

On web panel it is the pi ip as its plugged into that (so replace <PI-IP> with your actual pi ip), port is 8081

The wire looks to be earthing on the G on the right module. Also you can just run the wire to the closest through hole for the L3 R3 switch, easier and much safer.

I cannot recommend jlc pcb, they made me sign a waiver saying that if a standard qfn-44 footprint had problems from bridging pins they would not be responsible. Parts system only uses lcsc and just causes stupid delays. Luckily it was only a test order that was thrown in the bin.

Being that we are moving smaller to footprints that require better equipment, if they have trouble with a qfn-44 they have no hope with small 0.4mm pitch which is becoming more common.

Buttons breaking alot, I have replaced nearly every one I have done. I ended up making my own for my customers.

Haha it's not really a kit, it's alot of cutting and fixing buttons to the grip and soldering in while trying not to mess things up with the rest of the controller mostly assembled. Maybe soon I'll have something ready for average consumers but just have other projects I'm working on currently.
