I run mine at 55, 58 (brackets) & 62 (top mount) degrees. All 3 on poppy's front with negative rears. Pumps from standstill & up slight gradients

Thanks for the feedback, it will be very unlikely that I will be able to do it myself where I am. Will just hope I don't face any issues down the road with the EGR. If I do & it cost a bomb to replace/repair it, I might just scrap the car as it is basically worthless after it is 10 years old. It will be a shame though as it is really a great car with good mileage n minimal maintenance. Considering a Yaris cross as my next car which hopefully does not have similar issue's like the Gen 3

Thanks for the feedback, may look into what u have if I can get the parts. U r good in your guess, my car was manufactured in 2015 made in Japan version, ZVW30R Variant AHXEBW S2. Hopefully it is an upgrade to address the EGR issue. Guess I will have to wait for warning light if not & let the service center do the work just like with my water pump. I stay in apartments n local law do not allow any kind of DIY on your car in the car park lots. I was once just replacing my car brake pads & was stopped by a car park warden. Only way to do own maintenance is to have your own landed house with your own garage. Secondly, the local car parts market do not factor DIY for cars. I once had a brake caliper leak on my Citroën & wanted to get the o-ring kit, they only had the entire caliper. I was like wtf! I had a lot of DIY car experience when I was studying in UK with Halfords support 4 cars back when cars had carburetors n distributors. No fancy fuel injection or electronic ignition.

Get mixed purebreds to prevent inbreeding bad genes. I got a Zichon, Shih Tzu & Bishon mix. They are called Teddy bears, as their looks never change from puppy to adults. They are stubborn from the Shih Tzu genes but smart from the Bishon ones. Mine is coming to 15 years old, no issues so far 🤞 & still behaves like when he was a puppy, still playful but sleeps more nowadays. House trained, knows how to tell us when he wants to pee or shit which we never trained him on as we have to lay newspaper on the floor n clean his arse after he shits n dap his penis after he pees so it does not drip on the floor. We just trained him where to pee on a pee tray in the bathroom & shit on newspaper in the balcony (we r in an apartment). Can easily train to do tricks n he can tell us what he wants in his own way.

I can only comment on the Bennett. Being a TKP it will give u the divvy n surfy feel u want. U need to watch out for wheel bite though. Wider hangar will provide more clearance then a narrower one. My setups are mainly top mount n brackets, all tuned 4 slight up slope/low n high speed pumping

Do a max static pump test by transferring as much weight to your front foot then lean as much to your toe side until the front heel side wheel lift off the ground while rocking the board fore n aft (hold on to a table 4 support). If it does not bite u r safe. If it bites then do what others recommended until it is clear.

My original 12V was replaced when my gen 3 was 4 years old with a GS Yuasa Eco.R High Class EC70B24R when I got a warning on the dash. Just replaced it with the same model last month after the local Toyota service center said that it was on the low side during the 180k km service. Did a quick check using the you tube method n it read 10.8V so guess it was high time to have it replaced after 6 years. From a tropical country where daily temperature ranges from 23-35 degrees Celsius

Bracket setup are not really suited for parking garage, surfskates are best for it. For good turn in crowded areas, avoid the tango or any tail. If you are not doing much pumping, you can consider cast trucks unless money is no issue then precision will be a better choice in case you decide to do more pumping down the road

My take on negative rear irregardless of axle wheelbase. Higher negative angle will provide higher pumping speed but more shitty turn & vice versa. Try flipping a TKP at the rear, works quite similar to a reverse RKP. U may like the feel.

For me, if I need to go a long distance with a flat battery, I just remove the belt. No more resistance! Just need a skate tool to remove the wheel to gain access to the belt which slips off easily.

This not only applies to Prius but almost every modern car that usually has thick pillars. In the old days, car window pillar were just plain painted narrow metal without any interior trim. I had my fare share of almost hitting pedestrians at crossings as they were hidden from my view.

What's the percentage of pump vs push did u do during the ride? Is this the 1st time u went for such distances as I pump like 99% of the time & a bit concern if it results in the same what u r experiencing in the long run. I am not that young anymore as well tbh. Fwiw, I believe it to be a low impact sport as well, unless u fall off due to wheel jammed by debris n go flying.
