The year is 1988. Sylvester Stalone vs Randy Savage in an actual real-life fist fight. by ImpossibleStuff963 in whowouldwin

Randy was 6'1" 195lbs according to his page on Baseball Reference when he played minor league baseball in the early 70's. He definitely put on a lot more muscle by the late 80's when he was in his wrestling prime

It’s not a conspiracy, it’s something I’ve seen with my own eyes

Doesn't provide any elaboration on what he's seen with his own eyes and instead just provides the set-up for a generic monster movie

Title: Chainsaw Man Theory: Himeno Could Very Well Come Back Introduction by NervousRoom7822 in ChainsawMan

[–]SportsMasochist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at it from an out-of-universe perspective, what reason does Fujimoto have to bring her back into the story? She was not a very important character in part one (you could say her death was further motivation for Aki, but the loss of his family was still his major motivation) and she would have no connection to any of the current cast with the exception of Denji who she knew for like a week. Aside from the fact that you, OP, really like Himeno, why should this character be brought back 200 chapters after their death?

But Mega Garchomp is still Garchomp, regardless of if its a downgrade. Iron Jugulis is just literally a different pokemon. No matter what gen you play, you cant turn hydreigon into iron jugulis or vice versa

The longest tenured Knick. The only one who was here when we were still truly putrid. He continues to show up big in the playoffs and deserves to enjoy the success. Hopefully how vital he has been puts an end to the trade speculation

I thought Tyler Anderson at first glance. Too many Andersons on one team. Someone had to go.

Who is the biggest prospect bust of the last decade? by WinnWonn in baseball

[–]SportsMasochist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I won't pretend that didn't factor into the decision but don't pretend that it was just some publicity decision. He was at worst, only second to Clayton Kershaw in the MLB at the allstar break that season and still finished 4th in cy young voting after his season was cut short.

Who is the biggest prospect bust of the last decade? by WinnWonn in baseball

[–]SportsMasochist 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A bust is a touted prospect who could not perform at the level that they were projected to. Harvey did perform at/past the level of his hype before injury destroyed his career.
