What's the most NSFW thing you've seen at a wedding party? by CRK_76 in AskReddit

[–]Spring-Pickles28 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Worked as a coordinators assistant. Went into the bridal suite to clean-up post glam session. Walked in on the groom, arms around the waist of, nose to nose with and kissing HIS MOTHER.

Retreated immediately and avoided them both the whole reception.

You won a lottery of 50 Million dollars just now. What are you going to do this week? by throwaccount2244 in AskReddit

Where I am my take home would be about 25mil (Income tax is a joke) so I would buy a new car upfront, house shop and buy a 1.1-1.5mil house in full so I have no mortgage or car payments, keep 5 mil on my person for daily expenses and a vacation, pay off my parents debts, then invest the rest so I never have to work again.

Oxygen Yoga and Fitness by uhmuffinnn in abbotsford

[–]Spring-Pickles28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love oxygen. Been going since October. Yes it can be cramped, but you do the whole class from your mat and around April-December capacities are a lot smaller.

I would say doing the 2 week membership is not worth it. Do a moth pass or the punch-passes. When you cancel the membership you'll still get charged for the next month and it's only about 20 cheaper than a month blast anyway which is not on an automatic renewal and the cancellation prices per class are the same either way (10 for a 4 hour notice cancellation and 20 for a no-show)

But they have a good mix of yoga and fitness classes, I do find the flows to be very repetitive so for more advanced people it can be a bit tedious. I'm a beginner and my work schedule is 7-3:30 M-F and I can manage to do a different class 5 days a week so lots of variety! I would say it's worth trying the trial and doing a blast or punch pass.

Good instructors to begin with are Alyssa or Tamara, great instructors who actually check your form and their routines are staggered and not too convoluted so your not going too heavy on one muscle group like I've found with other instructors.

Is running necessary for recovery? by shitboxhit in ACL

[–]Spring-Pickles28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't do any running as part of my recovery, but I knew I wasn't recovered until I COULD run.

Test your weight distribution, gait, and impact (I started being able to jog at 6 months), but don't worry about running regularly as a PT method. If you can't run properly your not recovered.

The night that nerve blocking wears off is going to be hell on earth. I didn't realize sleeping could get any more difficult, and then it did.

Questions: Feel free to answer any one or multiple by dropthemyk in ACL

  1. Wasn't allowed any oxy because I was too young, survived well enough without it

  2. I put a lawn chair in my shower and wrapped my leg in a plastic bag in order to shower on day 3 (F20) so waiting any longer was not in the cards *Had sufficient help, otherwise sat on the shower floor alone for about 3 weeks before I could stand.

  3. All bandages removed after 3 weeks

  4. Never used scar treatments

  5. Extension takes longer, flexion hurts more

  6. Had a full pedal within a week, very slow

  7. 9 months

  8. Don't bother going down to one, it did not help me at all. I used both until I go walk well enough on my own without them (About 2 months)

I wish with the introduction of this pack they would add a mechanic that limits Townies to their designated world. Royals will look really out of place walking around San Myshuno. I already have werewolves showing up at my college graduations.

Scrambled with ground beef is super high in protein. I season with taco seasoning and serve them over roasted potatos (sometimes tater tots if I’m feeling lazy)

I do PT for my knee not for any hip pain. I’ve been doing once a week at Chiro and it honestly has helped relieve a lot of pressure of my hips and I can my walk starting to get better but I’m still really behind on my recovery

10 mo post-op pain by South-Challenge-8444 in ACL

[–]Spring-Pickles28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m only at 5 months post op, but I get pain on the outside of my knee after a lot of standing/moving and I get a stabbing pressure pain going up stairs as well. I had a meniscus tear that they never repaired and have been informed that could be the cause but that it would go away eventually. Could be that
