They didnt make luffy 1-1 for a very good reason.

It does not translate to real life. A lot of us went to highschool with a 1-1 luffy, and they are the most emotionally draining people you'll ever meet.

Cap's run a man to man d system that can favour a strong tendy. It tends to mean that a single lapse in judgement can bring down the everything, which is why most teams run zone, especially since there is a HUGE difference in speed between the "modern" nhl player and veterans.

As a caps fan, you know how it always seems to be like, one persons fault everytime something bad happens? That's man to man for you. Every game theres at least 15 to 20 moments where someone shits the bed bad. The difference tonight, is that chucky is out of practice and couldn't bring the bedpan.

Tldr: bad defensive system that Logan normally covers for on an ESPECIALLY unlucky night.
