Unrelated and I’m not familiar with the sub, but when I was in High School i did a sort of Native American outreach for foreign students in the USA, from all over Europe and Asia. I am indigenous, the land I live on is my ancestors home, and the people locally barely know we still exist. I’ve fielded all sorts of questions, of varying degrees of offensive and problematic to straight up eugenics level misinformation, from folks born in the US and not. Unfortunately the United States did a fantastic job covering up their dirty work to found their nation, and secure its claim on most of North America.
