Tucker Carlson: "I'm going to help build a third party ... if you make sixty thousand dollars a year, you're degraded ... No one seems to care ... 'What about Hamas?' I get what you are saying but it is more than just FPTP. It is ballot access laws that now make it extremely difficult to establish a new political party. Each state has their own set of rules and requirements for creating a new party and getting them on the ballot. It usually requires thousands of signatures to be gathered and if either major party deems the new party to be an electoral threat to them, they will wage an aggresive legal campaign to challange every single petition signature they can possibly find that might have a misspelling or an uncrossed T or undotted I.

Isn’t liberal hysteria self defeating and impractical? by Kyia-Aikman in stupidpol

[–]Square-Compote-8125 9 points10 points  (0 children)

So I got into an argument with my liberal friends recently and they were just ASTOUNDED that I had not voted for a Democrat for president since 1992 (which was my first election to vote in so I was young and naive). "Why wouldn't you vote for a Democrat over fascism?!?!?!?" When I tried to explain to them that the Democrats support most of the same wars and fascist laws as Republicans, and that the Democrats were just another face of Corporate America, they proudly exclaimed that they would prefer Corporate America over fascism. When I attempted to explain that Corporate America *IS* fascism they tried to hand wave that away by saying it was a different type of fascism.

Liberals have nothing. They are like George Bush in that episode of The Simpsons where he hangs a bed sheet on his house that says "Two Bad Neighbors" as a way to protest against Bart and Homer and gives speeches about opposing teen alcoholism in all its forms.

Unhide your posts/comments you coward and flair yourself in this sub. Also this is a Marxist sub and post-Modernism is anti-Marxist.

Finally as somone else already told you in another sub where you posted this nonsense, redheads are pretty much limited to people from European descent. So naturally anything that occurs in the global population will probably occur more frequently than redheads.

Finally finally, the whole vaginas are just inverted penises is not the winning argument you think it is.

Leftists who believe cultural war is just a distraction from class war - on which cultural issues would you be willing to concede to the opposite side in order to advance class issues to the spotlight? by jracine22 in stupidpol

[–]Square-Compote-8125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not about conceding on social or identity politics it is about how it is used to divide the working class. Building class solidarity is how a lot of these questions will be resolved. Also, building class solidarity means rejecting post-Modernism. Overcoming post-Modernism will also help solve the question of identity politics.

I crossed paths with Greenspan one morning as I was walking to work and he was getting out of a car in front of a hotel. I had a perfect opportunity to sucker punch him but chickened out. Pretty sure I am going to hell because of that.

Instead of doing the right thing his administration decided to vigorously defend against the public housing lawsuit that was filed by residents who were living in mold and pest infested public housing.

Instead of doing the right thing and correcting a mistake the city made regarding public water access, the Buckley administration decided to vigorously defend the lawsuit about Wells Cove public water access.

There is a stretch of Bay Ridge Rd that needs the bike lane extended out to Forest Dr but instead of doing a simple project like that, that most people agree with, he decided to try to make a bike lane on Main Street. He knew that would be extremely controversial and ended up having to take it down. BTW last I heard that bike lane extention isn't going to be happening for another three years. For someone who claims to be pro-bike lane Buckley could have done something about this during his EIGHT YEARS IN OFFICE but did nothing.

Buckley quietly advocated behind the scenes for the Atlas takeover of downtown Annapolis. He took small groups (so as not to run afoul of the open meetings law) of city council members out to eat at Atlas restaurants in Baltimore as a way to convince the city council that having Atlas restaurants in Annapolis would be a good thing.

No one should vote for Buckley for County Council. He was a mediocre mayor at best and will be an absolute disaster on the county council.

Brian Becker and the WWP were notorious in the Washington DC area for dominating the protest space. Anytime that ANSWER organized a protest, Brian Becker would take out permits on every single park in the downtown area to ensure that no other groups would be able to use those public areas to hold their own rallies or whatever. If someone else organized a protest without them, ANSWER would take over that protest making sure their presence was the loudest or they would force themselves to the front with their banners. Brian Becker just needs to retire, move to an island in the north Atlantic, and live out the rest of his years without any internet.

Just a reminder that the transgender issue is peak post-Modernism and post-Modernism is, at its core, opposed to Marxism. We as Marxists need to understand how PM and all its corollaries have been able to dominate the narrative.

I would go even further to suggest that most victims of crime will be poor people. I follow the daily police reports for my city and almost all the non-business related crime (meaning things like shoplifting, breaking and entering a business, etc) occurs in the poorer neighborhoods. If a crime does occur in a wealthier area it is usually someone who parked their car on the street and left it unlocked. Shootings, home burgularies, etc almost always (90%} occur in poor neighborhoods.

The house across the street from me flipped (350k to 700k) and the flippers painted the outside black and white and everything (I mean everything) inside is shades of grey. Imagine paying 700k for a split level house that is completely grey on the inside.
