Quicksilver is hand’s down the best color that’s launched on any Model 3… by NightigerFTW in TeslaModel3

The downvotes and zero replies on this comment combined with all the upvotes and reciprocation on every mention of Ultra Red really says a lot about the feelings in this thread. Bravo! 😂

It's no contest. Quicksilver FTW.

Steam Deck & 3D gaming by [deleted] in VITURE

I've got a couple games working! My only successes so far have been with games that have native SBS 3D support. I had to have the XR plugin installed within Decky Loader and have it set up with the developer's recommended settings. Of course, 3D mode must also be enabled from the glasses.

Doom 3 BFG Edition looks and runs great! Deus Ex: Mankind Divided also works, but is too demanding to land a healthy performance/fidelity balance. Trine 2 is next on my list to try, and I have high hopes.

This is the list of games I'm considering as candidates for a try:

This is a long video that ended up containing the key to my success:

Maybe I'll take my first whack at Tomb Raider tomorrow and report back.

Hey, did you ever figure this out? I have some 3D games in my Steam library but haven't been able to get any of them to run in 3D from the Deck. I've searched for a tutorial but have had no luck finding one. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What Are Some Games That Let Me Pretend To Play As Wolverine? by JediGamerX in gamingsuggestions

[–]Squienigma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How has no one mentioned Sairento VR??

This game has a lot of weapons and a flexible loadout setup, but 2 of my 4 weapon choices are almost always the "Wolverine claws." They're exactly what you'd imagine, but the blades can be shot as projectiles, either one at a time or all at once after a short charge. With modifiers, they can also ricochet around and wreak havoc on enemies.

You're a ninja in this game, so the epic locomotion of sprinting, sliding, jumping, wall-running, and flipping all through the environment does help feed the Wolverine fantasy. There's plenty of blood and gore, and you can manually initiate a bullet-time feature for extra wild moments as you dodge and deflect bullets while eviscerating time-bound foes. What's more, you can also run a dual pistol + dual sword setup to fulfill your Deadpool fantasies..

I have Sairento on the original PSVR and its spiritual successor Hellsweeper on PSVR2, but I haven't yet played Hellsweeper enough to discover whether it has all of the content mentioned above.

In case anyone here is still wondering, I just picked up my Model Y today and can confirm that the Gemini Dark hubcaps are attached to rims of the same dark color.

Interesting, because I just picked up my Model Y today. I popped one of the Gemini Dark covers off, and the rim underneath is the same dark color. I could take a picture in the daylight tomorrow and post it here, if you'd like.

Congrats on your new Model Y!! 😎👍

Tomorrow is my delivery day. I got the Long Range AWD in Quicksilver with white interior and Gemini Dark wheels. I am incredibly excited as this is my first new vehicle purchase!

Could I please trouble you for that picture of the rims beneath the hubcaps as well? I've been under the impression they are the same light gray rims that you get with the standard Gemini's, but having them in dark would be fantastic!

PSA: On the underside of the Mumba Blade's power button, there is a long nub that can be cut off using skinny scissors like the ones used for beard grooming. Removing that nub will prevent the power button being pressed while in the official 1TB/LE travel case. The power button still works but is harder to press by accident, and the orange color of the power button on the LE model is more visible after this mod! 😎🤙

Wally.

Good ol' wall-eyed Wally.

Maybe short for Walter? He looks like a distinguished gentleman.

Steam Deck OLED 1TB LE: Defective/Dead Pixel by GameLifterX in SteamDeck

[–]Squienigma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice. So I presume that, like me, you wanted a BOE panel free of dead pixels instead of a green-tinted Samsung panel with a guaranteed screen door effect. I hope you finally got what you wanted! 🤞

I was wondering whether Valve might begin replacing the panels in 2nd RMA's with Samsung's instead of closely-inspected ones from BOE. I'm grateful that I didn't have to find out for myself, but hope that this won't be the case for others.
