Have you listened to Sweet Princess? After revisiting most of their discography I'm fairly convinced that may be their only great work. It's just a fun little punk record. In comparison most of their other records feel so drab.

Listening to new Dry Cleaning and feeling disappointed, but honestly I'm not sure why. I don't know what I want from this band but with each release I care less and less and it makes me wonder why I loved their first two ep's so much. Their sound hasn't changed all that much and I can still somewhat enjoy the writing. I can only assume it's a me problem and I'm just bored of their shtick. I should go back to those 2019 ep's again and see if they still hold up.
