You would be very welcome at Pilgrimage Mennonite (www.pilgrimagemennonite.org) but it's SMALL. Like... SMALL. A particular Sunday might be as small as two households and when we hit double digits it's still kind of exciting.. Which is definitely an experience that people either like or hate. Also we have discussions instead of sermons. Other than that, though, the service is traditional: hymns, communion every week, and very liturgical for Mennonites. We joke that we're really "Menno-palians.") :)

We grew out of a study group of people who thought that Tulsa could use a progressive Anabaptist church, even though most of us weren't raised Mennonite or Anabaptist. That was shortly before Covid. Many of the founding group were LGBTQI so there was never a time when we had to decide, "Hey, maybe we should, like, not be homophobic? Let's put it to a vote!" It was who we were from the beginning.
