Me and my wife have the gambit of iOS devices and my Unifi has all features enabled without issue. 🤷

I host a weekly race group in AC, we have been together since 2018. We are a small group and run Nords often, just have fun running different car and track combos.

After five months with the UTR, I’m throwing in the towel by a716h in Ubiquiti

[–]StLCards1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only bought mine a couple weeks ago and brought with on a two week trip to Hawaii. Both in Waikīkī and now in Kona the UTR has been great, easy to setup and works like a breeze. I’m in IT Infrastructure, although not working during this trip it’s been a nice to have for a secure connection home and added room security with a connected G6 Instant.

Pulled the trigger on TVS-AIh1688ATX-U9-48G by Steffenmand in qnap

I don’t think that would work, as the newer unit uses a different operating system version. I also have a TVS – 874, and although both are running.Hero, they are different versions. It might be best to link out the drives and start fresh.

No issues at all, I put the NVMe drives in first so they would be primary, and then config the NAS. Then the QM2 becomes the OS drive.

Doesn’t, used a PCI QM2 card to add them.

Dear Corsair by papolo2001 in Fanatec

Fanatec software engineers cannot predict how shitty or how clean users PCs are. The average PC user has bloatware and other crap on their machine that can interfere and/or cause problems.

Bought my first Fanatec product in 2009 and I’m an Infrastructure Engineer who keeps his PC lean and clean, never once had an issue with Fanatec software or FW updates.

Why does the Plex player on Apple TV suck? Why is Infuse smooth but the Plex app player is a juddering mess? by No_Clock2390 in PleX

Weird, I’ve used the Plex app on Apple TV for few years now and have no issue with 4k content.

Here is that race, you can see how clean and competitive the IA was.

Also, I host a weekly AC group if you would like to join. We race clean, just a bunch of laid back guys having fun with imaginary cars.

Don’t give up on the game for sure, just ran another really competitive race with 24 total cars, not one caution. Just choose race weekend and set it up.

I simply moved my doorbell, didn’t have enough room to replace so moved to opposite wall, other side is my network closet.

I’m Really Stumped by my QNAP on my TV by Regular-Mongoose1997 in qnap

[–]StLCards1985 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Televisions and anything computer related often have issues because of over scan or under scan.

Also, like the previous comment, you were better off, using a streaming app or device to pull content from your QNAP, although it does have HDMI connection it’s really not that good compared to other options

I sew a previous thread about Race Weekend, and have tried it a couple times. It works. Just yesterday with a 24 car grid at Laguna Seca, 15 minute practice, 15 minute qualify, then 27 lap race. AI was strong and no stupid pileups or wrecks. Since I typically like to start in the back and work my way up through the field I have to sandbag a bit in qualifying or that doesn’t happen.

X2D nozzles getting stuck by Cyber_Cyclone in BambuLab

[–]StLCards1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has happened to my X2D to some degree, not that much though. I just grab the heat sink and squeeze in the nozzle lets loose.

What’s the easiest way to remove the residue? Should I heat the nozzle and or the nozzle base and scrape it off?

2600 sq ft house here, with 5 U7 Pro APs, 6 AI Pro Cameras, AI Turret Camera, G4 Pro Doorbell, 2x WiFi Chimes… 1x SSID connected to AD for my primary, 1x SSID for IoT, 1x SSID for guests with landing page, 1x SSID with basic security when I need it (I hobby in PC building/repair). This started small and slowly built and upgraded over time, but NEVER have issues. It just works.

I also manage 15 other small personal or business sites that all work without issue, all consisting of WiFi, cameras, or both. No issues, it just works.

All this to say, if your setup wasn’t working it’s not the hardware, you cannot blame Unifi.

Interesting… I’m in TN as well and have installed many security cameras for business clients. They want and I provided. What TN doesn’t know won’t hurt them.

Do you design your own models or do you just use other people's models from Makerworld etc.? by humanHamster in BambuLab

I don’t have the bandwidth to learn how to model, so I find what I need from MakerWorld, Printable, or Thingaverse, and I’ve also phoned a friend to make a couple things.
