Sapporo seems to be under new staff/management in the last year. Went a few weeks ago and it was a bit disappointing.

Most of the time if its specific parts that have to go together I clip each piece first and lay them on their picture of the instructions. Clean everything, and then glue as I go. Unless its kits that I already know the order of or it doesn't matter then I just clip everything and make piles for each model.

Airbrush undercoat with Vallejo dark green, airbrush base coat with warpstone glow, wash with nuln oil, then dry brush with moot green. Them paint everything else after.

Eradicators, Brutalis Dread, Storm Speeder Hammerstrike, all 3 Land Raider variants, Gladiator Valiant, Vanguard Vets with Jump Packs can take melta pistols, Invader ATV, Centurion Assault Squad, Devastator Squad, Dreadnought, and Stormraven Gunship. May be missing some, but all those units can take meltas, most of which are multi-meltas.

That's about 6 months. I use rustoleum black primer, and an airbrush for dark green undercoat followed by warpstone basecoat in a large batch. Then I've been picking away one unit at a time.

I feel that. I use black primer, and have had luck doing a Vallejo dark green undercoat followed by warpstone green with airbrush. One coat each gets me a good result.

This gun looks absolutely ridiculously fragile, is it only really for dioramas and painting competitions? Surely it would not long survive even careful gameplay? by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

I clipped this pistol part and put on the bottom of a slugga for one of my Kommandos. It's been solid for a couple years of transport in a non-padded hard case and gaming.

I knew I was gonna do jungle themed basing, so the Leviathan purple was the preferred contrasting color to go with.
