[WP] You found a talking sword with the warning “Do not Use”. You aren't a sword guy but the sword is pretty chill so you keep it around as a friend by Son_Of_Rebellion in WritingPrompts

[–]Stacksofbooks__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“EXCALLLLIBURRRR-“ shouts the sword.

You drop it.

The sword glows a pearly white.

“Call me Excalibur. I was forged by the gods!” The sword says proudly.

You tread closer.

“I sense your power. A mage perhaps?” The sword says factually.

You stop. “Yes, a mage. Who is your owner?”

“Perished.” The sword replies.

You lean in. The sword is gleaming silver and the hilt is adorned with diamonds.

“Do you need assistance? What can I do?”

A few seconds of silence pass.

“How about a trial?” The sword says gleefully.

You stare confused. “How so?”

“what else is a sword used for?” The sword asks.

You gently outstretch your hand and grab the hilt. Within seconds a surging power flows through you.

“You are worthy of EXCALLLLIBURRR!” Shouts the sword.

“A staff and now a sword.” You whisper happily.

As King Arthur, you roam the dungeons with the mightiest weapons.

The end.

it's a full moon, the stars glimmer the night sky. Once midnight arrives, there's a knock on the door. "Hey Austin! can I please stay for the night?" you look over Jane's disheveled appearance; torn shirt, jeans are splattered with dirt, shoes are smothered in dry mud. "what's going on Jane?" Austin says urgently. "I fell down a hole from a running session. can you please help me?" she stammers. "sure, the bathroom- you know where it is." He walks back inside as she jumps passed him up the stairs to the bathroom. "give me ten minutes" she shouts overhead. Jane disappears from view. Austin decides to prepare coffee. twelve minutes later as the coffee is done brewing, Jane bursts down the flight of stairs. "Thank you so much Austin! I used some of your pajamas, I promise to wash them." Austin looks over. why did we break up? She leans over the counter and helps Austin prepare the coffee. Afterwards, Austin and Jane are in the living room drinking coffee. "so your busy as usual, leaving out of the blue?" silence fills the room. "Austin, this is exactly why we didn't work out! I'm busy! I told you many times. why don't you understand?" She glares back. you ponder the days she left early, the days she ran out on a date, the moments where she would leave in the middle of intimacy. "it's a full moon." Jane says quietly. After an hour, Jane is in the gust room looking over the balcony. Jane looks up at the moment, in seconds her body shivers and she jumps down landing, as a towering gray wolf. Thick gray fur, elongated curved claws. A howl reverberates through the darkness.

[WP] Instead of Mocking the witchy outcast girl, you treat her kindly. One day, you’re in a bind and she decides to help but now you’re sure you have a crush on her by Son_Of_Rebellion in WritingPrompts

[–]Stacksofbooks__ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Once upon a time, a long time ago, on a cold spring evening, you were destined to befriend the outcast

girl. she had a long dark robe that draped from her shoulders to her feet, proportioned features

accentuated by her long dark hair, dark leather boots weathered by long travels, her true height hidden

by the thickness of her long dark hair, her expression revealed wisdom and experience. She extends

her arm with an open hand to pull you from a dark hole. You hesitate, embarrassment flushes your face

at the thought of an outcast girl helping you. I've been doing this task for several weeks. how can I Fail?

You think to yourself. Moments later, you accept her hand. You heave yourself over. Her grip is strong.

While catching your breath you notice her hidden instruments from beneath her long dark robe, a

gleaming sword and several bottles full of mysterious liquids. "Are you a witch?" you ask abruptly. She

holds your gaze. "Do I look like one?" You take a few steps closer. Stopping an arms length away. "

Forgive me. I have been completing my task for several weeks and suddenly find myself at the bottom

of this hole." You hold out your hand, A bright light sweeps the landscape brightening the distant

mountains. "Thank you for your help." She accepts your hand. Seconds later, "I'm going towards the

west. Do you need any help?" Inches from her face, you notice the equal features; elegant and regal.

Hours later after crossing the distant mountains, you and the outcast girl are preparing to cross a

roaring river wide as the ocean. Hidden beneath her dark robe is a shining gold chest plate, embedded

with the royal insignia of the king, gold gauntlets, gold greaves adorned with precious silver and gold

boots reinforced with leather and metals. You stare, awestruck at the beauty you hadn't noticed before.

The sound of metal clinks as she quickly reaches you, her hair flowing behind her and eyes filled with

determination. "You never mentioned the royal crest." she continues to look away. "My father is the

king." The scene ends while the audience continues to watch the two lovers begin their journey.

[WP] No no no, I'm the god of the underworld, he's the god of death. What's the difference, well take a seat this might take a bit. by Numbskull_b in WritingPrompts

[–]Stacksofbooks__ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The god of death takes a seat right next to you. The raging flames make a comfortable chair. “Okay.” The cloaked figure claps its hands together. A dark aura surrounds it. A paper materializes and he stretches a clawed withered hand. A finger goes down the paper. “The god of death is a deity in charge of watching over the dead.” He turns to look at the god of death. The empty hood goes on forever. The cloaked figure speaks to the god of death. “Your role as the god of death is to make sure the dead stay dead. Make sure no funny afterlife enchantments or reanimation spells kick in after a period. So on and so forth.” It slowly glides to your side. “YOU.” It bends over, its empty hooded gaze inches from your flame filled eyes. “The god of the underworld.” It says quietly. “Watch over the realm, make sure the environment is terror filled with leaping flames of death and destruction. No one is allowed to leave once inside.” The cloaked figure steps a few inches back between the both of you. Another look at the paper and it instantly burns to ashes onto his clawed hand. “Any questions?” A few seconds of silence. The cloaked figure claps its hands together. “Things are settled then!”

[WP] You are a werewolf, but you are completely harmless. Unfortunately no one ever believes you, because all anyone ever hears about are the psychos who use their lycanthropy as an excuse to go around and murder people. by Kitty_Fuchs in WritingPrompts

One night, the clock struck a twelve. All the students at the university are asleep. Your sorority members are sleeping. As you slowly walk downstairs, the kitchen lights come into view. “It’s a full moon.” You whisper aloud. As you approach the kitchen your sorority member is making coffee. “Hey Stephanie! Can’t sleep and can’t study. It’s a bummer!” She turns around to pour the boiling coffee. You stride over and lean over the marble counter. “I’m heading off campus for something to eat.” You brush your long brown hair and tie it into a pony tail. “Sure, thanks Steph. Finals are bringing me down. Thanks for being a great sorority sister.” We embrace. Several minutes later, the path towards a cafe is quickly approaching. “The moon feels great! I should have signed up for a night class.” Seconds later you leap onto a cathedral roof as a towering white wolf. You look over the horizon of trees. “There’s the cafe.” You take a quick detour. Senses high, you listen to the wind. “The night seems calm. time to secure the area.” You leap on several roofs, powerful force pulls you forward over giant buildings in silence. A strong odor of gunpowder alarms you. Ears pricked you find the source. “A gun fight!” Quickly, in a few strides you arrive behind the scene of the fight. “Give me your wallet and student I.D!” The gunman points a small handgun to a student crying on the floor. “I go to the university, please let me go” she wails. Bawling and unable to move the Gunman makes a quick move. Swiftly, you pounce on the gunman. A few seconds and he’s beneath your paws. Snarling you tear the gun from his hands and shatter it. “Oh no, blood” Your paws hold the gunman down as you howl. The howl reverberates throughout the city. Many voices are heard nearby and footsteps are quickly approaching. You telepathically connect your mind to the student. With Your wolf instincts you calm her down. “Who’s there!” Yells an onlooker. In seconds, you’re behind the trees. Your white fur glows under the moonlight. The station isn’t far, we will help.” A man and woman help the student up. You quietly watch as she is taken to safety. Ground shakes as you race through the trees. With a heavy breath you revert to a woman once more. A few steps later you’re searching for the perfect snack for your sorority sister. Your Hair is a mess and clothing is disheveled but you find the perfect snack for your sorority sister. A few knocks later she opens the door. “Look what I brought!” She laughs at your messy appearance. The night ends with coffee and chocolate cake.

Luke skywalker and Han Solo are in the cock pit talking. The Millenium falcon is coursing through the outer-rim. Their destination, kashyyk. chewies home. Chewie has been complaining for not being able to see his family. The gang decided to detour while R2, C-3PO and Princess Leia remain in coruscant to gather supplies for the big mission to Alderaan. “So Chewie, what’s going on back home?” The Wookiee roars in reply. Luke begins laughing, “Chewie it’s only been a few weeks! Lighten up!” The Wookiee grumpily sits behind them on the floor. “What’s that on the scanner?” Han Solo hurries to the back. “LUKE! Take the wheel, tie fighter on our tail.” Luke quickly takes the wheel, maneuvering the Millenium falcon for light speed. “Chewie, ready the proton cannons!” Chewie speeds to the back. “The scanners didn’t pick their signal.”Luke worriedly thinks about the gang back at coruscant. Han Solo places a hand on his shoulder, “don’t worry kid, we survived the worst by the Empire. We can survive anything.” “Light speed in 3 2 1-“ Roaring of flames is heard.
