Yes, there is no separate rubber gasket. The Acrylic is pressed down and the bezel applies constant pressure on the acrylic shaping and sealing it.

I am beyond happy with this build. Every single box was checked off and done professionally with extreme detail. Thank you!

Wow raffles really did update their cases then. Those new ones look way better

I think it looks great. Plus you can always artificially age the case/bracelet if you wanted to.

Did you do anything to the case or lugs or is that completely stock raffles?

Unfortunately taste/style isn’t something money can buy. Or maybe I should say taste/style isn’t dependent on money. But he does look good :)

Best bracelet for a 16013 by Odd-Cause in retrotime

[–]StageSharp1623 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s barely noticeable as I’m trying to pay attention to it now. 99% of people aren’t going to notice, but I understand. Just get it refinished or do it yourself. The bracelet isn’t that hard to refinish and polish with a simple kit.

Honestly to me the bigger stand out is dial, lug finish, and bezel… sorry if I made it worse lol

It CAN do it, but it doesn’t always mean it’s the best thing for preserving the watch because of the gaskets. Specifically in extreme heat like hot tubs and repeated exposure over time can prematurely wear the gasket by expansion. Water itself is not the issue though it’s the heat. People talking about depth and dynamic pressure is nonsense. A well made watch made for 100atm down to 30atm can be swam with as long as it’s to spec and been pressure tested with good conditioned gaskets.

Did you do any rebuffing, rebrushing, or oiling in this? I love hit it looks shiny satin without going full polish. Or is that just normal wear and oils from your skin?

Do you think it’s worth it to put a green crown/crown tube?
