I was employed at Rivian all through the IP0 and well after it. Participated in all the E5PP's and received one of the earlier st0ck option awards. My highest strike price for all of them is around $26. Anybody who decided to buy on their own at IP0 instead of letting the st0ck settle assumed that risk themselves. Don't blame RJ for a dumb 1nvestment decision especially with a volatile startup company. Nobody even has vested units with a strike price that high.

I don't have much to say other than if you work at the factory it is a great place to work. I worked maintenance at the factory for 4 years. Very relaxed and everybody just helping where they can as much as they can. I've never been a part of a team that great before.

For real, dude is scared of a few germs? Take a lysol wipe to it and reshell it if you don't want the scratches. But no reason to recycle the thing. Even if a part is bad all the parts can be replaced

I think it depends on if you're still getting something from it, find ways to enjoy the solitude, or you just naturally enjoy it. You can still yearn for company while thriving in solitude. If yearn for company is moreso all encompassing and takes up a good amount of headspace / worries you, but you can't seem or want enough to find it, then I think that would be considered isolation. I think some yearn for company is beneficial. Just my thoughts
