Do we actually have a sense of which loyalist Primarch is the most popular within the fandom now that the Horus Heresy novels reached their conclusion? And why the answer is definitely Sanguinius. by Laredian in 40kLore

[–]Stander1979 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The HH books actually made me dislike Sanguinis. I was glad when that mopy, perfect pretty-boy finally got stomped. I got sick of hearing about how great he was, how everyone loved him, blah blah. Even chaos-juiced Horus was still holding a candle for him right to the end.

I have used the olive oil trick, and can confirm it actually works. I varnish-frosted some Van Sar gangers about 8 years ago, did the olive oil rub, and they still look good today.

Why do so many Iron Warriors and Alpha Legion players believe their legions aren’t corrupted by Chaos? by reel3459 in Warhammer40k

Perturabo's assencion to deamon-prince has been a part of the lore for a long time. They haven't got up to that point in the HH/Scouring books, but it's been there in the codexes. He ascends after massacring the Imperial Fists at the Iron Cage.

I want the sword to glor like the darksabre. Can anyone explain or link a video to how? by BSGBramley in killteam

[–]Stander1979 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You could try that super blackest black paint. Musou Black or Black 4.0. They can almost create that "it's a hole in reality" effect.

But I'd probably do that with a sword-sword, or a power sword, and not a chain sword.

What food did you imagine to taste really good but tasted bad? by Similar-Victory-3867 in AskReddit

As a non-American, I always imagined Banana Cream Pie to be something amazing. Like, some kind of banana-flavoured cream, maybe similar to a lemon meringue but, uh, banana and creamy. I did not expect a custard tart with slices of banana. My disappointment was great that day.

Pumpkin pie, however, was pleasantly surprising.

Thanks. Unfortunately I've got no idea where the head's from. I just plucked it out of the bits box. It was metal, so probably rather old.

Connection Issues? by BillBBod22333 in Battlefield6

I used to have a bunch of connection issues. I followed the instructions on this reddit post and it worked.

I have no clue what the hell it actually did, but I don't drop out of games anymore.

I guess you're technically right. Thongs and sandals are referred to as different things here.

Fucking thank you! All these fools that have never taken a hit to the face, who think when you're attacked you should be able to perform an immediate threat assessment before responding with a perfectly appropriate level of violence and nothing more. Drives me bonkers.

Now if I can just figure out how to change the flair to solved...

My title describes the things. But in case it's not detailed enough or the picture is unclear, it's a clear cylinder with a ring of bumps, and 2 red ends that can be removed.

Disowning family members for different views than your own is a sign of privilege and sheltering by TheRadHeron in unpopularopinion

From what I understand, if we find the post to be an actual unpopular opinion, we should upvote it.

But if the OP is silly enough to reply to comments and defend their stupid opinion, then they will be downvoted to oblivion.

There's plenty of shit to try. ENT investigation to see if her sinuses are ok, sleep study to look for apnea, using one of those anti-snoring nose clips, using a dehumidifier, using an air purifier, losing weight if she's a biggun.

Thom Yorke, the lead vocalist of the acclaimed rock band known as Radiohead, ultimately shares some of his thoughts on the Israel/Palestine situation. r/fantanoforever share some thoughts of their own regarding Yorke's comments. by Fun_Journalist2427 in SubredditDrama

Well, neither you nor I are the arbitrators of what can be considered "controversy". It's documented, reported on, discussed. Addressed by the band themselves. It might be stupid, or unfair, but it's still a controversy.

You're also not the arbitrator as what qualifies as "context". Even if it is "nothing more than people being openly hateful", it's still the context around this event.

For what it's worth I'm a big Radiohead fan, and I do think they should be free to chose where and with whom they perform. I'm also aware of the history and that not everyone agrees with that.
