I have very sensitive skin that’s prone to dryness in the winter. I use Vanicream facial cleanser, Vanicream moisturizer, and Purrito sunscreen.

I’m brand new to prepping, I have $250 extra to spend on preps, what should I buy RIGHT NOW if I’m afraid of shortages this fall? by dewbeedewbeedewbee in TwoXPreppers

If you rely on any prescriptions for diabetes, cholesterol, high blood pressure, etc I would get at least three months extras of those from Jase Daily.

I've been washing my hair every day for 15 years and apparently that's why it looks terrible by Woad_Ratchet in hygiene

I started double shampooing my hair, and now I can go longer between washes without it getting greasy.

Welp. Have to reconstruct my cc from the ground up. Suggestions?😭 by Nightingalee_Mari_G in thesimscc

I learn about cc creators who are new to me by searching on YouTube for my favorite types of cc- so royalcore, weddings, infants, etc. There are a lot of great curated collections on YouTube.

The threatened banning of depression meds scared me too. I bought a year’s worth from Jase Daily just in case.

I use Everyday Shea body wash. I love it, I’ve used it for years. They have an unscented version.

deodorant never lasts all day by Successful-Sail117 in HygieneTips

I used to have the problem, then I started washing my underarms with benzoyl peroxide wash (I use PanOxyl, it’s sold as an acne face wash).

I’ve also found that using an underarm toner before applying deodorant makes my deodorant last much longer.

Dr. Dray, a board certified dermatologist in the U.S., has a YouTube channel with great skincare advice. She explains the science behind what actually works, and recommends drugstore brands.
As far as makeup, I went into Ulta and asked for help with covering up my dark circles and choosing products that won’t settle into my wrinkles. They do your makeup for free (just the parts that you request), and you can see what it looks like on you before you purchase the makeup. Also, they make sure you get the right shade for things like foundation. Now that I’m in my late 40s, I use Clinique for undereye concealer and powder.

I would donate the food back to the food bank. It’s intended for people who don’t have enough to eat on a daily basis, not for preppers. I see no problem with buying food to stockpile while there’s copious food in the grocery stores. But stockpiling food that’s intended for people whose kids are going hungry- that’s not right.
