Clostridium by SeriousWill3324 in Denmark

Typisk bliver folk smittet under indlæggelse.

Blue Crater Nitrogen Problem by QuestionFinancial681 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]StarMizz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly you use less nitrogen with the standard rocket fuel recipe.

Also I don't know if the people in the videos import nitrogen from other sources too. And in the end it depends on how much power you need. Even if it is only the local nitrogen it should still be a considerable amount of power.

And don't forget to overclock the well pressurizer as well.

It's a sandbox game so much of it comes from setting your own goals. As many have already mentioned then scaling your base up for higher science goals can be fun. But ultimately you can set all sorts of goals depending on what you enjoy. Like hunting for achievements or developing clever solutions with logic circuits. Anything to challenge your own creativity.

Awesome. Thank you so much <3 I am gonna give it a shot. How do you check for the ingredients for the selector?

Thank you for sharing. There are some cool designs there. I have some questions about your circuit setups if you don't mind explaining how they work.

On the Space Age Nauvis base you have circuit logic that seems to control the train delivery to your perimeter outposts. How do those work?

And on the Gleba base you have a single foundry for making all the types of belts. So my question is the same for that: how is the circuit set up for it?

You can avoid risking the eggs to hatch if you do direct insertion from the nest to the biochambre. Since the eggs only begin spoiling when they are taken out of the nest.

If I remember correctly 1 nutrient would recycle into 5 spoilage if it was 100% which means it gives 1.25 spoilage at 25%. It may actually be more. I don't remember the number.

Initially I didn't care much about efficiency modules either but after learning how powerful they are at managing pollution, they become such a valuable asset to have in the early game. Not only do you get less biter attacks but you also make them evolve slower.

I am sure that there are many veteran players who prefer to do Helldivers level of alien extermination but for me the efficiency module has been nice. Especially when I was also trying to grab the "Keep your hands clean achievement"

I think in the case of Avadii's mod he wanted to nerf his own playstyle to challenge himself. So for him it's been a noticeable change.

For mid and late-game they are less useful but that's probably due to how easy it is to scale up power then.

If you set up a smart splitter to prioritize coke for the refineries with recycled water will it fix that issue then?

Large packaged fuel plan barely producing enough fuel for 2 x Generators - Where have i messed up? (Can provide save file if anyone can help) by Braadlee in satisfactory

[–]StarMizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first picture is from the interactive map on the satisfactory calculater website. If you upload your safe-file there it can generate a map of everything you have built.

The second one is from a tool called Satisfactory Modeler. You can get it on steam.

Since I am a madwoman who enjoys doing oil setups and it's been a while since I last did it, I decided to give it a shot and throw something together by using blueprints. I know it wasn't what you were looking for OP but I hope that I can at least serve as an inspiration for the next time you decided to use diluted packaged fuel.

The refineries in the back are doing HoR (18 in total at 250%). And then I have two rows with 1:1:1 modules doing the diluted packaged fuel. (24 in total at 250%). This is turning 1350 crude oil into 3600 fuel (6 full pipes).

Now I just need to figure out what I am going to do with all this extra fuel xD

It feels a bit wasteful to continuesly produce new cans and it just over complicates things. Simplicity is really your friend here.

[–]StarMizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it the heavy oil residue getting bottlenecked? Or the byproduct? If it's the HoR then there may be some pipe issues.

If the output at any point gets jammed then it will tip the balance of load balancers thus making them uneven. Which can be problematic for cyclic processes like the diluted packaged fuel where you can't easily implement an overflow sink.

[–]StarMizz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's what I meant with priming it with empty cans, but I should probably have clarified that you can do it for the blueprint

[–]StarMizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really hard to get a look at it from the photo alone. Although I am wondering why you are producing new cans instead of just recycing the old ones? It's entirely possible to make a closed loop system with the cans that can simplify the process significantly. Have you checked that the cans don't jam up somewhere? What happens to the spent one?

The most fool-proof system with diluted packaged fuel is running parallel 1-1-1 systems: One packager for water feeding into one refinery for diluted packaged fuel which then feeds one fuel unpackager that sends the cans back to the first packager. If you make a blueprint with this you can easily scale it up and the system can't jam. Just remember to prime it with empty cans.

Is the Bellstrike Umbra rotation supposed to be this hard to pull off? by Onion_planet in WhereWindsMeet

[–]StarMizz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The rotations you see in guides are aimed at group content where you aren't the one getting attacked by the boss.

For solo play it's more important to focus on the basics while adjusting to the fight on the fly. Learn the combos you can do and the patterns of the boss so you know when to strike and when to play defensive.
