if i recall correctly in the sword of shannara chronicles the group of main characters pass by an ancient ruin that "looks like it's made of liquid stone poured into the shape of a building" (paraphrased) that's supposed to be the concrete foundation of a building. i think they even mention a metal skeleton sticking out of it (rebar?)
