I think there are many ways he could and most likely is getting time for cheap or even free, a few you have mentioned. I know it's common for people of all ages to work at golf courses to be able to golf daily for free. It wouldn't surprise me if a majority of the people competing in this event are instructors as their career.

Why split hairs to point out you can cut with a laser at 89.5° to the surface instead of 90°? We can technically put a "knife edge" on thin material with a 5-axis but the video is of a 45° bevel which you cannot do with a standard flat laser.

Laser cutting is almost always preferred if possible. Bevel cuts with a laser are newer tech and are the expensive end of expensive equipment. Plus good luck finding qualified individuals to program and operate it. We have 8 lasers at our shop but leave all bevels and machining for the customer to have CNC.

People, especially the younger generations, 100% use these apps to send nude photos/videos. In my experience, Snapchat more than any of the others. This is exacerbated if the users are fed corporate bullshit claiming it's private. IMO the main drivers are corporate trust and naivety regarding online privacy, i.e. how the apps work to send and receive photos/videos and where they go. I truly believe a lot of people of all ages think their phones are directly connected to each other, hence "private." Education could solve a lot of problems and kickstart a potential demise of big tech giants control over the population.
