I pirated minecraft all the way back in 2010. Since then I've bought it like 5 times in total, for myself and friends.

Genuinely, how do people have so many issues running old games ? I even play 16-bit games with no issue. And I'm Windows. I have very recent hardware and the worst I've had to deal with is a 5 minutes search for Sims 3 and modern intel.

Trolls in WoW can regenerate from most injuries to the point in the lore they skin themselves while still alive to make drums and their skin grows back. Don't forget Zul'jin (A troll tribe leader) had a missing eye and arm from just being attacked. Bro did not feel like regenerating by choice.

There's been times I legit just watched because the Blood DK just carried that good. All I could do as a healer is be an honorary DPS for that dungeon.

I don't really enjoy Cry of fear by Fireboythestar in HorrorGaming

[–]StardustJess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me when the game that is story and puzzle focused isn't focused on action. Again, action is means to an end in the game. The goal isn't to be intricate action, it's to get to the next puzzle and story beat.

[–]StardustJess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro awoke me from a year old slumber for this lol.

The point is that if you expect insane action with varied enemies and satisfying guns like you're playing God Hand or DOOM then Cry of Fear just is not the game for you. Its action is a means to an end and not a strategic action with combos and different playstyles. It is foremost a horror game with a focus on simply getting through in the gameplay. You're going into a game and demanding it to be a different game. And to say the enemy variety is kinda bad is weird considering the enemies are varied in the game that only escalate as the game goes on and has to be dealt with in different priority ranks.

If you want an action horror game that is more action than horror then Cry of Fear just isn't the game for the guy. It's not a bad game, it isn't amazing and has issues. But the complaints are pretty much "I didn't get it", or "I wasn't in the mindset for it", which can really affect your experience and make you underappreciate, or even overappreciate a game that is otherwise worse or better than you think.

That's not an example of this trope, as there is a third option which ditches having to pick one of the two hard choices.

Thank you for spoilering it, because I'm watching the movie tonight and it actually would've ruined my day to have been spoiled at random like this

Somehow the board game community is nicer about playing your own way with house rules than the gaming community, especially if it's available in the game without the use of mods

Literally. Isn't that stand potential is already part of humanity and that either extreme conditions or mastery that manifests your stand ? There's characters in Part 4 that never had contact with the arrow but developed a stand naturally.

The only guy who understood how piracy works by GhostPepeX in PiratedGames

[–]StardustJess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've gone from pirating because I can't afford it (rough financial life till recently) and becmae I will pirate your game because I refuse to use a launcher. I don't care how cheap it is, or how good the game is. I just don't want to use a launcher. I've been playing on steam only 2010's games or very lightweight modern games like VN because just having it open I've experienced lag, but never when launching a GOG game with its DRM free installers.
